An video interview with Yan Martin, 2.03 SF which plays today at Yavne in the 2nd Israeli league.
He moved with his mother to Israel and early age but went back and played at Spanish young national teams from age of 13 to 19.
Then he played in some small Spanish clubs (isn't mentioned which once) but didn't succeed to make a breakthrough in his career and then Maccabi TA helped Yavne to get him so that Maccabi will be able to test him and maybe to sign him one day.
They say also that his father before died wanted to play in Maccabi to be close to his son.
He speaks about the "kibutz" he grown up there as a child, about the young teams of Spain he played at(was good team with a lot of injuries problems) and about Rudy Fernandez (his talent was obvious at the latest years) and Mark Gasol (had a lot of talent and a lot of kilos, and he to his roll in Memphis ) with whom he played there, he speaks about his father and about being his son and about the connection with Maccabi TA.
