Nice thread and great evidence of great floppers in basketball but ... NOTHING beats the amount of floppers in football (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3u8f3759t7k).

I love my football as much as I love my basketball and it is very unfortunate that this type of behaviour is carried along from generation to generation. There are a few countries that play football where the many footballers are not as bad such as Australia, New Zealand, USA ... and of course those hard core Poms and Leprechauns ... some of you may be thinking that the Lads from the UK are floppers, we they also do have a fair few but from my experience of playing indoor football with a bunch of ordinary UK lads, these lads don't take any %$#@ flopping.

Fisher is one of the all time worst (best?) floppers. Before they changed the hand check rule he used to arm bar the opposing player on the perimeter to try and get them to 'back in'. When they did that he would body bump them 2-3 times (like a defender against a post player does) and then on the 4th bump he would lean in, take the bump and flop back like he had just been hit by a bull. What a joke, I can't stand him.

all Mediterranean countries (except ex-yugo states, we're slavs we don't know what flop means, we only play honest sports) italians are the worst or maybe I should say the best floppers

also all south americans - they are fakers and posers, just terrible, soccer player from brazil robihno is a disgrace, nasty little over-rated, foul-mouthed, rude player

litvanians and baltic states are pretty good in flopping too

russians and other slav countries - no flopping there, just honest hard sports
same with english, nordic countries and germany

israel - no floppers - playing good honest sports

usa - mixed bag there, soccer players are no floppers, some basketball players can mix it with italians easily

Th Argentinian team. Scola, Ginobili, Oberto and Nocianu. Spanish team, Pau Gasol has tendency to flop sometimes. Fisher and Vujacic are known floppers. Flopping is the only way Brian Cook play defense just like Steve Nash. Ginobili, Paula Pierce and DWhistle are known for offensive flopping. I think the NBA should crack down On flopping. The floppers should never get the benefit of the doubt. The grandmaster of all flopping is Vlade Divac. I think he's probably thinking on how he gonna flop his way on every play.
