Samad Nik Khah Bahrami, Iran national team captain, will miss the world cup in Turkey due to knee injury. After Hamed Afagh Eslamieh, the other Iranian star out due to injury, this the second and main Iranian star who will miss the world cup. Now the games will more on shoulders of Hamed Haddadi and Mehdi Kamrani to help Iran against Brazil, Croatia, USA, Slovenia and Tunisia. Other iranian players like Saman Veisi, Arsalan Kazemi, Iman Zandi are in perfect health and will be present.

No Vasiliadis again! :rolleyes: Kazlauskas is not a coach who would be against such players, so I guess he's not that good after all. Personally, I think they had to give him a chance. Greece suffered in some games while lacking pure shooters, and Vasiliadis could give a hand in some games. Personally, I would cut Zisis, Greece has 3 guards who can play PG/SG, and pure shooting player at SG/SF wouldn't hurt at all.
