Some international flavor from 2011 Class:
Esther Niamke, PG 5-5, Louisville recruit, was an All Star team and France top scorer at the 2011 U18 Euro championship. She also played at the 2010 U17 World's. France took the silver in both events.
Karly Roser, G 5-10, Northwestern recruit, played for Canada in the 2010 U17 World championship team (2nd high scorer).
Tjasa Gortnar, F 6-2, Georgia Tech, was Slovenia high scorer this year in the U19 World's championship.
Temi Fagbenle, F/C 6-4, Harvard, played for Great Britain in the 2011 U20 Euro championship, finishing as her team's high scorer and rebounder. She attended Blair Academy HS.
On the other hand, former Parade All America prospect F 6-2 Sarah Imovbioh of Nigeria is enrolled at Virginia, but has been ruled ineligible by NCAA to play the 2011-12 season, see http://www.virginiasports.com/ViewArticle.dbml?SPSID=88845&SPID=10617&ATCLID=205269039&DB_OEM_ID=17800.
Imovbioh averaged 13.3pts and 9.8reb in four prep games played in Europe by the U19 Nigerian NT, that later didn't show up at the Championships in Chile.

Maybe in a distant future it could be intereresting, if she improves in quickness and skills.
For the time being "Bubbles" Anderson is not even ranked in the Top 100 of her class, and in an hypothetical duel with Britt Griner in NCAA it would be a freshman vs a senior, no match imo !

Thanks for the info. I thought Anderson ranked much higher than that...For sure she won't be able to match Griner not only because Griner is a senior but also because Griner is already hyped as the "next big thing" for women basketball.

Belgium 5-7 PG Julie Vanloo (2011 class) was signed in spring to play the 2011-12 season for Iowa State, but NCAA ruled her ineligible for this year.
Whether Vanloo will wait to play at Iowa State for the next season isn't clear.
The Belgian young star (born 1993) is one of the best European juniors, with plenty of international experience, and she's the fresh 2011 Euro Champion Div. I as well as All Tournament player.
