I wouldn't bother.. I simply presume the global information environment is too strong to keep the distorted facts of such a level. you must trust the system we've got in place. anyways, as information age is sorta backfiring at us (people tend not to believe what they see, hear or read), maybe other interpretations are indeed probable to some limited extent.
my comment would be that real life is beyond any fiction that any man can come up with.
