Repesa with interesting starting lineup - Ukic, Kus, Rozic, Banic, Barac. If someone told me this would be our starting lineup year ago i would laugh at him. Marko Banic shouldn`t be in NT in the future. Nothing againts him, he is good kid with right attitude, but he is simply not good enough.

so far Croatia only had 2 spans for about 2 minutes of their inconsistant play... with young players that lack deciding games on highest level inconsistancy is somehow expected and I think croats can be optimists with those young guys they have for the future. great game for them so far.

I wonder why? Incidentaly, this chaos and disorganisation started when LaSexta (show television) acquired exclusive rights to broadcast main international basketball events. Then started terrible and unprofessional broadcastings - f.e., multiple small screens from different games at the same time from which we have seen nothing, often they show some girls in arena at the very important moments of the game, cameramans with bad zoom, clowns instead of game commentators, etc, now this virus affected even the clocks (of course, this is better than cocks) and all Eurobasket'07 organisation. I can't remember any such problems in the past, when games were broadcasted by TVE.

this is our biggest success since 1995.
if you can call it that..
I know I can..
and the fact we played three close games against some of the top teams makes me even more proud on this team eventhough we won just one of those three games..
those lossess to Israel and Latvia are definitely a reason to be concerned but almost a half of this team never played on a big competition and most of them were only role players in their teams last year..
our goal was to reach the OG qualifying tournament and we did it..
we were only few free throws away from the medal round but that experience will pay off sooner or later...
hats of to Repeša and those guys..

I am very happy for Croatia and wish all the best in the future. It's a pity we had to meet in the 1/4 finals, I'd have wished to meet Hrvatska in the finals, but maybe this time will come... :)

after the game I went to the bar (I'm not at home so I can't watch on my satellite) were I've watched remaining three games..
and after the Germany - Slovenia game I've changed the channel to ESPN classic where they were showing Serbia&Montenegro - France game from 2005.
and after that I have just one question..
what the hell happened to Tony "Speedy Gonzales" Parker in just two years?
difference in his speed is enormous when you compare him from that tournament and now..
