Is Carlos wearing diabetic socks? (http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/photo?slug=7f457c7732904716a358c3c917324f1a.magic_ pistons_basketball_dtp110&prov=ap)
Yeah, I think he is (http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/photo?slug=b3e3a09f802abdfad9661dd3055d826c-getty-76075632ae002pistons_magic&prov=getty)
I was looking at Carlos Arroyo's game log (http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/players/3585/gamelog;_ylt=AgZuQK8paItj0TJlAxk4qd2kvLYF) this morning. He's had some solid games starting at the end of last year. Last night, he had a 16 point, 5 assist, 5 rebound game, hitting the key free throws that iced Indiana. He's had a few 16, 17 point games recently.
Jameer Nelson missed 5 games, but Arroyo piloted Orlando to 4 victories in Nelson's absence. Arroyo and Nelson have been splitting time at the point guard position all season, stealing each other's minutes. A look at Nelson's game log (http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/players/3837/gamelog;_ylt=AgZuQK8paItj0TJlAxk4qd2kvLYF) shows equally erratic numbers.
Even though Arroyo has been playing better since the end of 2007, I think they will continue stealing each other's minutes. Neither player is incredibly consistent and both players have the same up-tempo game.

I think he has already proved that he cna have a spot in the nba, I remember a few years ago he did some great numbers with the Utah Jazz for example, the truth is that i still dont know why he hasnt had more contnuity in a team. He has the quality for being the starting pg of a nice bunch of teams.
11-5 as a starter in Orlando and they still find a way to sit him in favor or Nelson :)

 Whatever.
Actually, there was a rumor on HoopsHype that Orlando wants to trade Nelson eventually. Maybe they're trying to showcase him before February 28?

Carlos Arroyo is a finished star. I dont think that he will be good in 2008. 5 years ago he was one of the best guards of NBA. But now. No

Arroyo has had a few "did not plays" in recent games. What's going on?

Arroyo had a good game last week, getting something like 16 points and 10 assists. More interestingly, there was this mention of his name in the New York Post Sunday:
MICKEY MOUSE KNICK EFFORT IN ORLANDO (http://www.nypost.com/seven/03022008/sports/knicks/mickey_mouse_knick_effort_100125.htm) -- By MARC BERMAN, March 2, 2008, New York Post
...Knick trade target Carlos Arroyo, the Puerto Rican point guard in the starting lineup because of injuries to Jameer Nelson and Keyon Dooling, had a sharp game, too, rolling for 13 points with eight assists, opening it up for Howard.
Arroyo is a free agent this summer and could be interested in the Knicks. I can't see going to the Knicks as a step up for Arroyo. He was playing great for Orlando until he got benched without reason for 7 games.

Arroyo scored 17 points (7-14) in 28 mintues (http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/boxscore?gid=2008032519) in a loss to San Antonio last night. Coach Stan Van Gundy continues to give both Nelson and Arroyo inconsistant minutes (just like Vincent gives Calderon and Ford in Toronto).

13 points, 9 assists in a win against Milwaukee (http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/boxscore?gid=2008032815) tonight. Not bad, Carlos!
