I dont know guys but if the federation is looking for naturalizing a young Center,Mike Fraser (203-F/C-84) is the best!
After 4 games in the league, the guy is monster on rebounds and also good on offense.
Mike is averaging 23ppg,21rpg , 2.3 apg and 1 bpg !
What do you think guys ?

Even though Fraser's height is not the best for center position he truly is a beast and fighter on the boards and going for second chances on offense.
If Ronald Alexander works on his physical fitness and skills I think he also would be a good option for naturalization.
The problem is that it's difficult to find good young centers to naturalize in the Middle East region since the best candidates are either in the NBA or playing in Europe and those in the Middle East that have played in these leagues before are quite old and past their prime years.

Im not impressed by Ron Alexander anymore. Mike Fraser is better and way more useful for us as a naturalizion project.I heard also that Larry Cox of Kahraba is doing Great,i mentioned his name bcz he's young and tall (23years,210cm)

Yeah Larry Cox seems to be a good player even though I didn't get the chance to watch him play.
If Jordan doesn't naturalize La Shawn Malloy (209 cm, 24 years) I personally think that he would be a great addition to our NT as well (as one of the considered options).

four games is too early to judge, let him play regular season then we can see, but the federation must get a players ID starting from now, this process takes too much time and next year it's elections none in the government will sign anything ....i think vogel will still play next year.

Well Ron is consistent and doing his job silently
and he had a great game vs Mouttahed as well..
He's been doing his job since last year and he's also young.. just turned 24 with an at least 213cm... Just for the info, Fouad Abou Chacra wanted Ron last year for the national team and before going to Dubai few days ago, Riyadi wanted Ron but Anibal admin didn't approve.
Larry is a good option but Ron is better on Defense.. By the way, they played in the same college and are good friends.
Fraser is very limited. he's a player with lots of bounce. But he's very undersized (not even 200cm) and he's very very limited offensively. he has no offensive skills of whatsoever. He scores 75% of his points out of offensive rebounds. And when you play vs well prepared national teams he will be helpless and won't be able to make the difference. Also for your note Fraser was suspended by FIBA this season for drug abuse. (His suspension ended on Oct 16, 2008) .

Lebanon should naturalize Micah Brand.
I did suggest that once before but Charbel indicated that Micah is an alcoholic and that's why his performance wasn't so consistent.

ya exactly plus guys like ron alexander and mike fraser are better defenders and better rebounders and we need that badly!

Micah Brand is much better than Ron Alexander and Fraser!
He is tall, athletic, strong body, quick, can play under the basket and shoot midrange and 3 pts, can also defend and rebound. His game style is almost the same as Joe Vogel.
On the other hand, Ron is very limited offensively. If we are playing against China for example, Yao Ming or any other tall player guardiing him will stay under the basket because Ron doesn't pose any threat when he is far from the basket while he can't do the same with Vogel or Brand!
Brand is the only 4-5 who deserves to be naturalized among the 4-5 who are coming to Lebanon.

hey guys..its my first post but i used to visit this board regulary.
Anyway i wanted to tell u that Ron Alexander is limited..like ghayath said once abt him and he's right. He's not so gifted.Mica isnt serious.
But WHY u guys hav forgotten abt JOWEL BOX ??!!!
I think he's the best fit to our NT.Vogel style : inside outside..plus he's a better defender. He's averaging 4 blocks per game i think??
Or Anthony Williams if u want..but i think Jowel is better

although im more of a ron alexander fan i would prefer to neutralize mike fraser, he is being a beast on D and rebounding!!!!!!! we need that
but i think what we seriously should work on is get some Lebanese guys from abroad like Matt Freiji and Julian Khazzouh. These 2 guys can help us a lot

in my opinion if lebanon needs to naturlize a player to replace vogel the best choice is fraiser. i watched his games this year and i was really surprised that a player like him (not alot of experience) can play so good. fraizer is perfect and he can still improove!

Mike Fraser is strong it's true, but offensively limited and importantly undersized, so vs big sizes in other national teams he will struggle. Most of his points are out of offensive rebounds and he will not get that many in international competitions. Just to compare and in Asia only, Zaid Abbas is not Jad Bitar or Hamed Ahadadi is not Marwan el Hajj etc.... If we want undersized rebounders we already have Hussein Tawbe or Jean AbdelNour. Also we do not need a guy who's suspension from FIBA just ended.
First we need height, blockshots, rebounds and scoring and mainly defense. Fraser is not a great defender while Ron Alexander or even Joel Box are much better defenders and decent scorers. It's worthy to note that Box is very skillful as he can play in or out, shoot, play back or facing the basket, rebound, block, pass and sometimes handle
