a friend of mine in one of ARIS forum when there was a conversation abt potential interest of ARIS to the returning of Smush Parker said that Smush with coach Mazzon is like having a tractor with slic tyres...
I think it applies also on the case you mention.....

Yeah, its 3 non-europeans and 3 europeans now. The total of non-greeks is still 6. Obviously they can have no american players and 6 bosmans if they want. Panathinaikos will only stay with Batiste and Nicholas for the next year.

That's not official.. that's just another greek website that says that he signed a pre-contract certificate.

If it's announced here:
http://www.olympiacos.org

Then it's official..

Olympiakos got Kleiza but as far as Wafer and Watson nothing is sure .

Yes Wafer has agreed but the reds have until end of USA time today to
reconfirm the deal.

Olympiakos is trying to bring a very very big name from NBA and today is deadline if he yes then no Wafer and no Watson it will be the Nba Superstar
+ Teodosic.

In any case the by closing USA time today everything will be clear.

P.S Watson has not agreed yet and may not be the one but Wafer or the big name will finish today. ( No more budget even for the reds if big names says yes Teodosic stays)

Barcelona is very interested in Zoran Erceg and is near to close the transfer of Ricky Rubio.

Joventut wants 4 milion of euros, and Barça's GM, Joan Creus, offered 3'2, the day before.

Joventut signs days ago Valters and Mario Fernández and the strategy now (Rubio & Barça) is: Ricky says that he still in Joventut and Villacampa had a problem with this: 3 PG ( Valters, M.Fernández and Rubio) and his statements week ago when he says that Rubio didn't play anymore in Joventut.

Barça is waiting, and i believe that Rubio finally plays at Barcelona for 3'5-3'8 million of euros in a four year contract with NBA escape since second year.

yahoo sports is calculating something way wrong
the original offer was 5mil $ for 2 years and kleiza's agent was asking for 7mil $ for 2 years

they came to an agreement somewhere in between.

Kleiza agreed 2 year contract for 4 mil Euro.

No buy out no option to return to NBA after 1st year

shit happens

i just heard on the radio (sport-fm) that 12millions is gross so i guess it should make sense this way...but for the opt-out clause my opinion is that he will have such a clause, i dont think he would come otherwise. and if the interview from the manager is real then that should be the case

even in gross numbers is way too much man.
Is exactly the double numbers to the ones we know, gross numbers are not 100% up.
Probably someone misinterpret the total number with per year salary.

You'll see

it happened again yesterday, here, when people thought wafer will get 5.5mil $per year, while he'll get that money for 2 years...

Maybe there is an option for a 3rd year and the manager make it and NBA figure which means following.

6 mil Euro = 8.4 mil USD

8.4 Mil USD * 40% tax in USA = 11.76 Mil USD

So here you have it . Maybe he said what is equivelant to the NBA .

Barça had 2M Euros net per season + 1M USD for spending in the new player. 2M Euros is too low.

yeah, but yahoo says 12,2mil$ for 2 years, and we also know the contract is for 2 years - that's correct
so they just put up double numbers.

anyway, we'll see

in greek media they say 4.6 million euros net (2.3 per year) for 2 years without an option for NBA.
only yahoo says otherwise.
http://www.sport24.gr/html/ent/047/ent.309047.asp

they don't have to go from 2mils that Barça offers to 4,3mil per year to beat the offer, right?
its common sense
