Brandon Jennings doing superbly in his first two games so far. Does that mean Roma and Lega A are superior to the NBA? No

Hey, you take the wind out of this thread way too early.

Of course with Jennings this is all down to his playing style that doesn't suit Europe. Saras and Spanoulis on the other hand, they simply weren't good enough.

Especially, Jennings was already considered a better player than all the guy that left after only freshman year at HS, so, it's not a real surprise to see he is doing better than most of these guys. Especially after experiencing the pro game.

Since Lega A is ways ways better than NBA, let's take Gary neal and Cartier Martin to team USA! Please Mr Colangelo

Brandon Jennings: 'The Year In Europe Helped My Development'

Quote:
SN: You have not seemed to be intimidated by the speed of the game, which is a problem for a lot of young guys. Why is that?
BJ: I am a little more used to it. The year in Europe helped my development with that. I was straight out of high school when I went over there, and to start, I was going 100 m.p.h. every day. But, learning how they play, the slower pace and learning how to use my quickness within that, that helped my game a lot. Playing in Europe, in the league I was in, it was war. You can grab, hold and do all that stuff. So I have come out here and I am used to that style.
SN: That’s something most people don’t know about Europe—it is more physical than the NBA.
BJ: There’s definitely more physical play there than here. There’s more rules against being physical here than there are in Europe.

I'm not sure I agree with him... I see the NBA as much more physical. Strange perspective the one he has.
