RP team should include de Ocampo in the final line-up, at least they already know how to deal with Haddadi...hahahaha...7'3 vs. 6'5

His coaching staff should remind him that he have some timeouts to use. Or is it his strategy again?
I guess one factor also is they don't have a pure point guard right now... Few assists man.... |

End of 3rd Quarter
PHI: 43 (12) (11) (20) IRN: 74 (25) (26) (23) Raymundo had a nice spurt in the quarter where he had 8 straight points. Offense just plain looked better to the eye for RP. Defense still a little shaky but still a work in progress.

Very nice hustle by team PILLIPINOS. The scoreboard doesn't reflect their game...

Ok as RP finishes it's Jones Cup campaign I can conclude (in my opinion) that we cannot beat Iran,Lebanon and even China as of now.
The rest including Mr. SOLO's Jordan team is beatable. ![]() |

in my opinion,i think that phillipines is still hiding some cards, but it seems that their mission to arrive the world cup is so tough.maybe some changes can improve their performance such that they would reach the 4th or 5th place in asia,as still korea and kazakhestan aren't that simple.

Anyway, I want to say something about PIllIPINO fans. I think every other team must be jealous of you. Because you never quit supporting your team. So chin up boys. Never say die.... |

No excuses. We're shite. Pure shite. This is basically the same Iran team that we beat in the 2007 Jones cup and fought to a close game in the FIBA Asia, but now they've just destroyed us. There's definitely something wrong with this team. Bad selection by Yeng Guaio, I think. We've got no pure shooter in this team, we're also missing the leadership of a good PG.

-I like the fact that Iran tries to be as fast as possible when it comes to transition from defense to offense even when Haddadi is in the game (they displayed this mostly in the first half).
-Good to See Hamed Afagh back he had an impressive performance as expected from him. -I think Pouya Tajik also played well, wih the exception of a few turnovers. |

alapag - orchestrating play and outside shooting caguioa - penetration and outside shooting williams - offensive and hussle plays plus rebounding hontiveros - outside shooting and perimeter defense.. most half of our players don't know where to go and what to do..our team looks so disoriented now. |
