Sergio played very well at Boston, and finally made the shots!

But besides the usual things Sergio does and known for them, he made this:

Everybody always talked about shooting and defense as Sergio's main problems, I've always talked about leadership as a big question.
Because he wasn't the first PG and he didn't have a hight "status" it was something that was less noticeable and nobody demand that from him. But the natural leaders are leaders no matter what.
It's much more important when you are the first PG... And today even more then at the previous game, he was sooo passive.

Previously at this thread I asked those who saw him, how he was at Estudiates in this plan. I would like to re-ask this now...

My summery of Sergio's game @Raptors, with the good and the bad things.
The resulution is hight quality, so I recommend to see it from the youtube site, not embedder here.
I wrote some things at the descriptions (you'll see it if you click on "more info" from the youtube itself, not the embedded here) :

Well, here is a video of the steals (it's not a full summery)

I know it's too late, but after watching this game I didn't feel like making a video of it... and I thought that maybe crakoli will do that.

Interview with Sergio, after arriving to Spain.

First, he claims to have a promise from a Knicks that he will get 6 mil $ offer for 2 years, but he cannot be sure about his future roll there.
And he explain about the timing problem because if he waits for the NBA the European team may not wait for him...

Regarding the NT, he answer to the rumor, which also was presented at this forum by somebody who claimed to have an insider information, about him demanding a promise for a roll and playing time from Scariolo for agreement to play at the NT. He said that he just wanted a promise to be at the NT, which mean not to be at the spare list (the list of players that should be ready if somebody is injured and needed to be replaced).
For me it was clear that he wouldn't say no to the NT...

Thanks for the link, IP. I would imagine that a European team will pay him a little more than that. If he stays in NYC, he might get more chances to play and become a star, but there is a good chance that he won't get those chances.

I'm not sure that European team will play more. He is still an unproven player at the highest level, especially not at Europe.
He played will as substitute for Calderon at WC 2006, but still than he didn't show much of his game...

At the end of the season at the NYC he showed some improvement at his shot, which is really important, and yet, as a 3mil$ dollar player he is a risk.

Ofc I would like this risk being taken by one of the teams... Just not sure about it.
