Default Eurobasket Uncensored

The author of the previous post answered a couple of...well, different questions about Eurobasket's Group C. Here's the article:

Eurobasket Uncensored: British Headbands, Fuzzy Spaniards and Homesick Serbians

Hope you enjoy, and thanks again to Paul for being a good sport.

Guys, can you explain me please because i,m really confusing, how is it possible to play (and i want underline) in OFFICIAL matches for two different National Teams?.. I mean how could Vassil Eftimov at first played for France NT in 2002 and now in current days he represents Bulgarian NT? Strange, really strange. Isn,t it...

On FIBA Europe site I have found this:

I know it's coming last minute, but here's the fourth and final Group preview for Eurobasket 2009 with Paul Nilsen. It's a good one.

Eurobasket Uncensored: Twin tattoos, The Lithuania-cat Dolls, and Jesse McCartney

Hope you enjoyed all of these, and a special thanks to Paul Nilsen for being such a great sport about it all. We realize we can be a bit tough to deal with at times, but he took it like a champ...and gave a little back to boot.

I realize I;m kind of posting to myself at this point, but I guess this is what this thread is for. We got our new reaction podcast up after a crazy day one of Eurobasket.

Oops! Spain is human after all as Eurobasket tips off.

Enjoy.

Or don't. Either way...

Kambala, who already was suspended for cocaine use, is involved in another polemical case: 4 games out and a 6.000 € fine after attacking the German guard Steffen Hamann.

Kambala recently admitted that he shouldn't have done that and it wasn't neccesary to hit Hamann. Kambala said that it was like game episode, because that happened like three seconds after the game. But no excuses to that, as Kambala said.

That was a great EuroBasket and now its time to reflect on what we've seen. Check out everything here. From the emergence of Timofey Mozgov and the heart of Poland, this was one intense EuroBasket.

Mate we saw the Latvian team at the friendlies too. They looked more like bouncers outside clubs than basketball players.

Watching them i could not help thinking that at any moment they could go off and start fighting with the other team or the fans..

I think the coach had to take control of the situation there..

This is unacceptable
