    Default Lega A 2009-10

Perhaps time for a new sticky thread?

Virtus Bologna has signed Jonathan Person (pg-sg, 195cm -95) from Uppsala.

Jonathan is considered to be one of the biggest prospects Sweden has produced so far.
His statline in the first amateur league read 16p, 5,5 reb och 4,1 ass per match.

This is obviously one for the future for Bologna but it is an impressive scouting job performed by the team as they have also been in contact with Christopher Ryan (g, 195 cm -90) and had early feelers out for Jerebko two years before he decided to go to Biella (if Im not completely mistaken).

    Someone has done their homework.

Your Swedish side is too strong
Anyway, didn't know about this guy, he seems to be quite a prospect. Sweden has been producing some top players in the last few years.

    That is flat out embarrasing.

Sweden has some talent with a chance to become good players, we´ll see how this situation (Person) will eventually play out. I was surprised that his older brother didnt join him though as I stated in this post.

Does anyone know about Nnamakas contract situation with Carife Ferrara?

I was wondering if there was a market table like the one produced by the ACB for the Lega.

Default Motiejunas rejects Zalgiris, signs with Benetton

Donatas Motiejunas will start his foreign career at the age of 19 after signing a contract with Benetton Treviso. One of the top prospects in the world was wanted by his hometown club Zalgiris too but decided that it would be better for him to move to Italy.

2.13 m tall center, who turns 19 in September, made a debut in the top division in Lithuania with Aisiciai last season. He was highly successful with 19.9 points and 7 rebounds per game helping his team pull out a surprise and reach Lithuanian Cup Final Four.

Motiejunas is widely considered as a top 5 draft pick in 2010 NBA Draft.

Napoli? wasn't the team offed by the FIP together with Orlandina after allegations of fraud? is this a new team, what league are they in? and while I'm at it, whats the story with the new PalaArgento? that saga has going on for years now.

No one said about the big signings for Siena?

David Hawkins and Nikos Zisis joined the team, even if we lost our great Rimas Kaukenas. David Moss signed, as known, but will join Virtus Bologna for the next season (in the meanwhile he should get the bulgarian citizenship)

Moreover, according to the club's website, Denis Marconato will join the team for its preseason.

    2 questions I have

Whats going on with Luca Vitali? Also I see that you mentioned that De La Fuente will play next season for Roma, is that sure because I read somewhere that there are some chances that he will come back to Spain?

D.Motiejunas now doesn't play friendly games in "Benetton" squad, as Lithuania press says due "personal reasons". Maybe anyone knows whats reasons?
