    Default Americas League 3rd Season

Argentina, Brasil, Perú, Ecuador, Costa Rica, México, Panamá and Puerto Rico confirmed.

    http://www.primerahora.com/diario/no...mericas/318666

Brazil - Flamengo de Rio, Universo Brasilia
    Peru - Regatas Lima
    Costa Rica - Coopenae Liceo

The puertorrican BSN is actually on the Finals with Quebradillas Piratas and Bayamon Vaqueros. Quebradillas have a 1-0 advantage.

[I took the liberty of changing the title -K2-, there are not only Spanish-speaking teams there ]

    Default Any Uruguayan club?

So does that mean that the Uruguayans aren't sending anyone?

Its going to be tough to PR to send one team. Many players are going to be playing overseas by that time of the year.

Yeah man, dont know why we bother if we keep sending teams without the players that won the championships.

I hope there are some news about this soon; not only about Uruguay, but also about Chile, the Dominican and any other nation.

Bayamón says they will participate in the tournament, Christian Dalmau, Eric Rodríguez, Raymond Barbosa and Franklyn Western will participate while Javier Mojica and Nathan Peavy won't. Coach Julio Toro will participate too.

Thank goodness, hope Dalmau isnt as bad in international games with clubs as he is in international games with National team.

Hope Oyedeji will participate too, they wouldnt have beaten Quebradillas in game six were it not for him.

Peter John Ramos, Shawn Redhage, Joel Jones, Cliff Hammonds

If at least 2 of these four dont participate, Quebradillas shouldnt send their team.

    LOL.

Asociación Deportiva Atenas is a sports club in Córdoba, Argentina, founded in 1938, mostly known for its achievements in basketball. Their home arena is Polideportivo Carlos Cerutti. Atenas is the reigning champion of the Argentine domestic professional basketball league.

FIBA Americas invited Argentine club Obras Sanitarias, after some clubs declined the invitation. Obras has the best record in the LNB so far (6-2), and would compete in one of the "northern" pools to be disputed in Puerto Rico and Mexico in January.

Another spot will come from the Liga Sudamericana Final Four: it will go to on of the three Argentine clubs involved (Quimsa, Sionista and Libertad), since Minas is already qualified to the Americas' League.

But the biggest news of all might be Venezuela finally joining the competition: the club Espartanos, which plays in LNB (the Federation-run league that ends in December, unlike the "independent" and more professional LPB which begins in February), will host a group. And they signed NT forward Héctor Romero, and Puerto Rican NT player Ángelo Reyes.

the puertorrican bsn is really close to folding for a year. 5 teams (Fajardo, Coamo, Ponce Carolina and Santurce) has already asked out of the tournament and is rumored that a 6th team (Quebradillas) will also ask out of it. As of now, our participation on the tournament is not even mentioned since everyone effort is into trying to get enough teams to play next season.

Bayamon is not going to take part in the tournament!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Is true that the puertorican champions have key players missing (Javier Mojica, Nathan Peavey, Daniel Santiago and Carmelo Lee), but still they have a competent team.

    Josue Soto
    Raymond Barbosa
    Guayito Santiago
    Erick Rodriguez
    Franklyn Western
    Sean Ramirez
    Foreign player
    Ivan Lopez

    Etc,etc

Capitanes de Arecibo, yes they are going to represent Puerto Rico and why not? They are going to be with their complete team except for Carlos Rivera that is playing in Mexico. So Arecibo is going to be a good representatitve of the island.

I read somewhere that Arecibo is interesting that Walter Hodge take part of the tournament as a Capitan.
