beat the philippines and establish such a pride amongst our people convincingly,...playing with you in a friendly several times really means a lot that the lebanese team kept on playing tune ups against the philippines before a major competition,... i mean,...sorry,..because as for the moment,..most of us filipinos isn't giving such respect along the level of china and other basketball powers in asia to your b-ball team,... though,...well,..sorry it was just an opinion,..mm,..

but,..some local commentaries told before that why philippines wasn't naturalizing then,...its because of the proud heritage of filipino basketball and the people' belief that they are a great basketball nation,....and it simply hinders the possibility of naturalizing,... until now that the basketball management program officials that they becaome more open minded regarding the topic of naturalizing,..and now,..currently,..they are considering such option,....

mm..regarding your question,..mm....it's possible,... for god and country,... Filipinos always fight with their hearts... they can win....

    1- CHN
    2- KOR
    3- IRI

    ***chill..hehe,,...

    I guess 1-China 2-Korea 3-Iran

Korea is always strong and after yesterday Champions Cup final match I believe Jordan is a serious contender.

Talking about Football, did you see the game between an Australian club and a Chinese club plus the infamous "Hollywood acts" in one of the regional club tourney?

I saw it last night in the news and its funny how they fake those injuries and the Aussies are mocking them...

Third, your last win was against Riyadi,a local team from Lebanon and not Lebanon National Team.
Riyadi will only have 3-4 players in the NT!
    Thank you!
basketball is all about team play, talents, height, and luck..for the past year, RP basketball has only talents but has a mediocre team play, heights, and worse luck..however, we still beat you even in friendly games..I don't have any intention of maligning your team but rather respect them for their achievements..however, you cannot also deny the fact that in the last encounters we had, we beat you..but still good luck in our next encounter.

Hey man, just ignore those guys... we keep telling them those victories doesn't really count, it doesn't matter, and that it did not change the Philippines ranking or get any medal at all... all they got is pride...

Well whats the use of boosting about beating them in games that doesn't count but when it comes to important tournaments such as Jones Cup... we can't even beat them... too much pride bro leads to prejudice and racial slurs towards Filipinos from other nationalities...

well, that's the problem with us (don't worry I include myself), mediocre..JOnes Cup? Is that prestige for you? Did they ever win the championship in Jones Cup? So what if I let them feel that I am proud of our National Team..They too are proud for their National team and I am sure they are well prepared to defend them, no matter what..let it be prejudice and slur..d@mbed, these things doesn't kill me..Have they beaten us in a Fiba Championship? I am acknowledging that their rank is better than us and that's good because they have done really good in Asian Basketball..However, we did beat them..there's pride in it..

No it doesn't count, because the FIBA Asia Champions Cup from the 1st to 20th edition is a "CLUB TOURNAMENT" ... so it doesn't count... the Philippines are one of few countries in Asia who sent their national teams to play the best clubs not national teams in Asia...

Half of the Al Riyadi team is not even part of the Lebanon's national team...

no need to argue about whos better... but to all filipinos here lets face the truth our pba-backet RP is illprepared for international competition... and i think its better to be an underdog...

those kind of post lets our foreigner friends think that we dont have credibility like what karim said before...

Well the only time both countries meet in a major tournament in the recent times is in the Jones Cup... we haven't played against them recently in the FIBA Asia Championship nor in the Asian Games...

Too much pride bro but keep it up... well just have to wait until Lebanon's tour of Manila in July, in Jones Cup and the big one, FIBA Asia Championship... something to look forward...

credibility? let me see..ok..if ever RP team and Lebanon meet at this coming Fiba Championship and RP lost, then I will ban myself here for maybe (atleast) 1 year or for life..this is only my way of saying that I took pride in my national Team..

    Guys..
No need to fight each other, just want to clarify some points:

1-Friendly games have always a different situation,Taiwan beat our NT by 1 pt in Jones cup and we smashed them by like 30 pts after 1 week in the Asian Championship.

2-Iran lost many games in Jones cup vs Lebanon, vs Jordan and others, and after a week they won the Asian Championship.

3-Riyadi is not the National Team and Riyadi only represents Lebanon as a local team.
The NT will be way stronger and prepared with an experienced coach like Dragan Racca.

4-I have a huge respect to Rp team and i dont see my team better than your team, both countries have a basketball culture and knowledge.Let the best win at the end!
