Default Why Did You Move the Brazilian Forum?

Can anyone give me a reason?

I moved several forums yesterday... those that aren't as active were moved as subforums including SEABA, Brazil, and a couple others.

I am not sure if this is a smart move, since hiding the less active forums won't really help them get anymore active.

Well that's agreed for sure, but having them out in the open (for over three years) hasn't helped either. This wasn't done to minimize any one forum, but to keep the forum as whole manageable and not overwhelming.

In reality, users usually find this forum using a search engine - so even if the forum is not as overt, the search engines still are able to read and index threads... the better content, the fresher news, the more likely users will come.

In the case of forums like Lebanon and Lithuania, all it takes is one dedicated person to focus on the local leagues and players... and over time the subforum builds itself because users will find that information on the search engines.

No problem 123, if we get more activity here, we will break out the forum again.
