I have never seen Japeth Aguilar plays. But with his size and quickness, he could be an added help to our national team.

if we play tough defense in the same way we played against japan and korea, taiwan is in big trouble. taiwan only runs one play and with the way i see rp shutting down the shooters of japan and korea, i see rp winning by a big margin!

You should have watch the game of Taipei, especialy the one against Iran. Taipei have the run n' gun games like yours however more organized. Their mid-range and 3 points are also not seen in the Philippines team, individual skill wise, Philippines is better......both teams do good defense. Taipei enjoys home court advantage while RP has more heart and more fiesty in nature. I'd say the game is 50/50, some dudes here said blow out win for the Philippines? my reply to that is: LOL, impossible, not gonna happen, are you watching BB? don't you have a computer at home to at least verify what you are going to say?

I am surprised of Taipei's performance so far, I think this team is their best assemby after the "change-blood" (getting rid of veterans from NT ) that started 8 years ago.

Organized run and gun?????? you are really giving too much credit to Taipei. First of all it was a first game for Iran. Iran always play bad during first games. They seemed overconfident in that game. there was no fire in Iran's game. In fact i could say Iran only played 60 percent of what they are capable of. Im 500% sure that if they face each other again Iran will blow Taipei by thirty. ORGANIZED RUN AND GUN? TAIPEI? JAPAN AND KOREA FIT BETTER AS ORGANIZED RUN AND GUN.

To win, the defense we used on Japan and Korea must click along with our shooting. Taiwan pretty much plays like Korea and Japan except they are smaller than them. If we can shut down the shooters of Korea and Japan, there's no reason why we can't give Taiwan a hard time hitting their shots. We simply need our shots to work and, of course, Aguilar must play in order to help keep the three big men of Taiwan--Tien Lei, Wu Tai-Hao, Tseng Win-Ting--at bay.

Japeth is a worse situation than Oden because even if Greg was unable to play in his supposed first year in the NBA, he already had a valid contract on hand and was paid that year even if he did not log a single second of playing time. Aguilar has so far has not signed the 3-year contract that was offered by Burger King since the actual contract offer came when the POWERADE team was already in China. So if bad luck goes Japeth's way and his injury is that serious and means he would not be able to play the coming season, BK still has that option to withdraw their offer and Japeth would be left empty handed.

I'm a bit disappointed at Norwood. He should play like Baguio because he's also athletic. He's indecisive when he has the ball.

    dapat may b@y@g sa laro

trans: players should have guts and have no fear whatsoever. examples are Dillinger and Baguio.

These 2 players know their role on this team. And they are making the most out of their God given abilities.

exactly!!! RP NT solve their short comings in the Jones Cup... now this is one that RP NT is working out, open jump shot and free ball 3's still cannot falling..but if they solve this outside shot, now.. I think we have the ball game... it's a matter of a rhythm in outside shot.. hope it will come tomorrow against CT!

First time I make a prediction in the IBN forum.CT will be limited to 40-50 points.
Wow, your team is so strong and i can't wait to see your team blow out us 20-30 points tomorrow.

don't listen to him... more than half the Filipino forumers here are keeping the 50-50 chance of beating your team. That includes me.
