Default Quarter Finals: Lebanon VS Korea

Tianjin City: 21hr00 Beirut City: 16hr00 Friday 14th August

This game is by far the hardest game is the quarter finals.
Can the Lebanese national team continue his good performance?
Will Korea stop the Trio Vroman-Khatib-Freije???

The Knockout game between Korea and Lebanon...

im sure you are aware that a team's jones cup performance is by no means a reliable measure of it's strength yah?

taiwan placed 4th in that tournament

one of the things that i like about palma he is always serious..the good thing that is our team has been stable by far, thay screwed around little bit against UAE but i guess palma had his talk with them.plus our players are aware about that (i hope so) they have been preparing this team for 3 years now
just for the sake of this dream Turkey 2010!!!

i'm rooting for korea. i'm solid east fan. if korea loses to lebanon, i'll never post in interbasket again, including my alternicks talion and talion(.). i know this is a tough wager coz lebanon is taller, bulkier and reinforced with an american. but that's the thrill of it all. anyway, i make this bet with no personal grudge against the lebanese here. good luck you guys and i know u'r all good people. it's just that i'm an east fan. outside asian basketball topics, lebanese people rock more than the other arab people. i hope you rule middle east someday. ok, bet is on..... if you beat korea, talion's gone.

I really don't know who to pick, Korea have my sympathy. But I see Lebanon winning this by a close margin.

On Korea's side for this matchup but they'll probably lose, no size and athleticism (HA has size but not much more than a big body who is glued to the ground). Though their guards are lightning quick and if they can nail some 3's it might stay close, within 10 points or so.

Hopefully we'll win , and talion, why do you plan to leave ?

It's not like it s the end of the world, there well always be other world cups

I will go for a 20+ win for lebanon.
We had no problem in the inside playing against jianlian and ZHIZHI(the best centers in the tournament), so we wont have any problem against the immobile HA of korea. If we can stop their 3 pt machines it will be a piece of cake.

But the 3+ are the top weakness of the lebanese defense.

Lebanese players are not as fast as korea.

This is where the problem will be

    Lebanon by 10+.

We just need to pressure them and limit those 3s.
And play inside on the offense and try to get as many fouls as possible.
