I dont think Puerto Rico will keep doing it in the second round. Before this tournament puerto ricans called this team the second round team and the last two years have proved it. Will it change? I dont think so cause just like these past years, the rican team had little to none time of team practice.

In fact, this team didnt practice with their full squad until 48 hours before this tournament began. Even in the Tuto Marchand Cup we where incomplete.

Honest our starting 5 should be

    Arroyo
    Vassalo
    Lee
    Sanchez
    Ramos

Ayuso is on the decline...hes really been a glorified 6th man who has been forced to be the starting two guard, I love him to the death, but he's too one dimensional..AD gives us more size, youth, talent...versatility at the 2...hes our future two guard along with Huetras who should of been invited to this roster instead of Dalmau who has no reason being here.

Sanchez/Ramos is our frontcourt...big men...most talented and skilled at that position.

Davila should of been invited also...don't know what happen there.

But we can't complain too much...we haven't look perfect, but 3-0 is great...

just wish the roster would of been like

    4 - Ramos
    5 - Davila
    6 - Rivera
    7 - Arroyo
    8 - Vassallo
    9 - Huetras
    10 - Ayuso
    11 - Sanchez
    12 - Reyes
    13 - Rodriguez
    14 - Lee
    15 - Clemente

    PG - Arroyo/Rivera/Clemente
    SG - Vassallo/Ayuso/Huetras
    SF - Lee/Rodriguez
    PF - Sanchez/Reyes
    C - Ramos/Davila

When Barea gets healthy...you drop Rivera or Clemente...I feel like we should give our youth as much experience as possible before the trip to Turkey.

Bro, Davila isnt Center....Sanchez most skilled and talented in PF?, puff Angel PIWI Garcia is much better than him, he isn't there because Memphis U. don't let it play!

The team is good and is playing great so far, we need to support our National Team, Puerto Rico all the way baby!!

Davila is 6"9...you dont need to be 7 feet to be a center...Davila has more advanced post moves than all our bigs and actually has cojones and isn't a wuss who's afraid of contact. I'm disappointed Monolo sucks at scouting...the whole selection is really politics. ...plus, we dont need two centers on the roster...Davila can be a PF/C....PJ is strickly a C...Sanchez is a SF/PF...thats a lot of flexibility.

Angel Garcia is MUCH better than Sanchez? Says who?
Sanchez was drafted by an NBA team...Angel Garcia really has no chance of being drafted and is actually softer than him...Garcia
Sanchez is only a year older than Piwi and already has 10 times more the experience, skill, and talent...Sanchez has a lot of experience on the international level and can only get better...Garcia is really unproven and is just a full time spot up shooter. Sanchez got us 7 rebounds yesterday and a block...his game will mold into a good compliment combo forward...

Our team is solid, but the competition is WEAK...we need to strengthen our squad to the most elite level...on a level where we can upset Spain or even the US again.
