alermac said he was cheering today for Panama to win, so supposedly Argentina goes to the top 4 of Group B, but its actually the complete opposite, as Im hearing if Panama beats Brazil and Argentina looses then Argentina is out, but if Panama looses and Argentina wins, both qualify and Venezuela is out.

In other words, Panama would obviously benefit more of an Argentina win than Argentina would should Panama win. In fact, Argentina doesnt benefit of anything if Panama wins.

Well there's a bit less drama now that Argentina has officially qualified, but this result still will carry to the next round so it's no less important.

Edit: Do wins over eliminated teams carry over? Cause that makes them game huge for Argentina if they don't. If they lose and Panama is eliminated, they'd go into the next round 0-3. If they win Panama stays in, and their loss to Venezuela is dropped making them 2-1. Huge difference there.

The Rules learned in the Prediction game.
    1: Brazil is always disappointing
2: Never dismiss Argentina solely because of age.
3: Never bet against Spain in a knockout game, unless it is against the US.

Charlie Villanueva does have talent, but how could a player be dumbest?

Argentina playing the best basketball so far. Looks like they´re really improving in the tournament.

Argentina looking like a completely different team than how they started the tournament. 19-18 Argentina after one.

Wow! Al Horford is playing a great game. He and Garcia are the dominicans guys. Villanueva is too dumb to help.

Fantastic shot to end the quarter to make it a six point game. 43-37 DR.

Good thing Argentina is hitting some threes, because things don't look good. I mean, the athletic difference is so big, it reminded me of White Men Can't Jump

No, they don't carry over, so it may be the biggest game in the tournament for Argentina. And for the Dominicans, too.

That's a good point if the Dominicans lose they'd be 1-2 and trailing Argentina of all teams in the standings. Huge game for both. Should be a fun 2nd half.

60-59 DR at the end of 3
