doubt. poland will probably get togh win but i doubt it will be easy. ivanov brothers are good players, agresive fighters and rebounders to put some good chalange on gortat-lampe tandem. or they might kill them with bugarka (zone defece invented by bulgarians)

I think Poland's crowd will be too much for Bulgaria to overcome.

    Israeli coaches derbi.

Poland has better players (Logan, Lampe, Gortat), Bulgaria has better coach.

With the help from the home fans Poland should win.

Bulgarians can win it and we can also lose it by 30. It really depends on how can we stop Gortat(we couldn't stop Pekovic in a friendly with Montenegro and Krstic in the qualifiers with Serbia). We really don't have good centers. Our prays will be concentrated on three point shooting,thou...

Key game for both, but I'd still would go for a pretty decent win for PL (but not a +20 game).

Gortat is a solid rock in D, but in offense i guess Lampe will do a much greater damage.

"They say" Gershon is blackmailing Lampe. I hope it's a stupd joke or just a gossip.

Poland is stronger under the basket and it is their forte..
Bulgaria is stronger on the guards position..
i expect it will be raining threes from Bulgaria.. and if they will start hitting them Poland could actually have a hard time..
key to this game could actually be Earl Rowland..
he played quite good in preparations, but what surprised me the most is that he actually plays defense.. and he plays it very good.. he is quick on his feet and doesn't give the opposition too much space..
he could be the key for this game..
I expect a close game were both teams have equal chance of claiming the win at the end..
for the championship sake I would like Poland to take it at the end though..

i don't really think one of the greatest coaches in europe would do that... that's some lame idea for somebody who looks for someone to blame in case of loss...
about the game, i believe poland would win but don't think bulgaria would give up that easily, it's going to be an interesting one.
poland got lampe&gortat under the basket which means they'll abuse em under the baskets but in case of good % for 3 i guess bulgaria could surprise, bad % for 3=15+ for poland
btw don't forget the crowd, wonder how the crowd in poland is, if they're loud and crazy it's a great advantage for poland...

I actually c the first surprise here. Bulgaria gets my vote. I know Poland is much stronger in the paint, but I don't c Gortat as a difference-maker, while Lampe was picked by Gershon 4 Maccabi, therefore he might know a way 2 limit him. I understand Bulgaria will depend on outside shooting...well many people here know my crazy theory: U make 3pointers, u win the game. That's what I expect from Bulgaria. If their defense is decent, they can do it.

I'm also not so sure about this one. Not that I have high hopes for Bulgaria in this tournament, but they could upset in a single game.

Ps: Gortat was a 8/6 center in German Bundesliga two years ago.

I also feel Bulgaria can upset Poland. Huge crowds are not easy for the home team either especially if the things are not going well.

He consistently played solid behind Dwight Howard last year but in the end it was a back-up role. Actually this is a good game to see if he has really improved. I believe he has.

I was the first one to vote for Bulgaria, but I don't think the refs will allow it.

I don't see Bulgaria winning this. The only threat are 3pointers, but I hope Logan does his damage too.
    +10 for Poland

32 points in 1st quarter, centers making 3s against the glass, and crazy crowd.

And on top of that, the best musically dressed Eurobasket of all times, now it is Verka Serduchka song playing

Great shoot-out in the first quarter.

I think Bulgaria is playing well (trying to use the paint), but Poles are making every shot.
