Default Group C, Day 2: Spain vs. Great Britain

Spain started off on the wrong foot and tumbled... Hard. Great Britain did start on the right foot but still tumbled in the second half.

Spain must be seething with anger (with themselves) and GB must be feeling fine after a fine start (though collapsed)..

Spain should win this again, right? (But we said that against Serbia)

But Spain should win this again. Seriously. By how many points? Or will GB pull an upset... (i doubt it.)

I feel bad for Britain this game, Spain is most likely going to play angry and motivated. If the Brits can keep it within 20 I'll count it as a victory for them.

That's a no brainer.Spain to double the defeats.

Spain last night looked bad, the best of their game, speed, tempo and strength inside out changed to slow, boring and weak. Any serious opposition and I would had say; they may in trouble, but GB, I cant make out a surprise, but god please prove me wrong because if by miracle Spain lose tomorrow...they may start packing their bags as Slovenia would rip them apart!

Team GB had an excellent 3 quarters against Slovenia.
They had no answer for our post game and with Pops athletic ability we looked like we may cause an up set.
However due to the poor 3 point shooting and slack defense out on the ark we didn't have enough.
If Deng was playing i believe we may have won.
Anyway Spain now and i think this will be very tough as the Spanish obviously have inside game to match us and more.
I hope to come away with a respectable performance and look to the Sebia game after..

I'm afraid that after the obligatory nervous first games at the tournament things will come to order and we might see the angry side of the Furia today...
They've seen the first GB game and will know what to do...guards should make the 20p difference

They won't... The real question is by how many points... They should make a statement... i'd be disappointed with a 10 point win... Give me a 30 point blowout!

Why not? I’m afraid the people in this thread haven’t watched the last games of the Spanish. They are not making any shots, and that’s supposed to be a problem in a game that consists precisely on making shots. It hasn’t been a question of effort. It has been a question of quality. When you go from fancy no look assists to passes that end in the face of innocent civilians in the stands, when you go from can’t miss to airballing layups, when you go from unbeatable to please don’t beat me it is tough. And these players are not one bit accustomed to losing basketball games. I can picture them wondering what on earth is happening with these shrinking rims. Spain winning by 20-30 points? Well, It’s not impossible, It has happened before, but, right now, it’s definitely not likely.

It has to be an easy win to Spain.
I can't see any situation that GB can do something against Spain or another bad performance from the Gasols or Navarro...
