Great game by France's 2nd team. Basically no contributions from Diaw & Turiaf. Maybe that is what NBA/Fiba usually amounts to..frequent fouls. . Clutch shot to end it for France.

That may have been the first time, I've ever seen both teams trying to lose the game

LOL at De Colo's and France players' reaction after the winning shot
    Damn.. Hilarious.

    Can somebody please kill Hatzivlakas???

Some of the greek players have to wake up, Zisis, Bouroussis, Fotsis, Printezis will have to start to deliver.

Damn, even with many players of our bench we won. Looks like both teams were really not willing to win it that much but greece even less

Nice last play shot from them. Revenge for the Diamantidis shot in 2005.

Can someone tell me what's so great about avoiding Spain only to get Slovenia or Turkey? I mean yeah Spain has the most talent, but it seems like you'd be in hard game either way.

during the whole game I believed that no team wanted to lose, they just didn't care much if they lost because they knew that in some way it could be better for them. When the game ended I saw this exact thing again...the french weren't celebrating after a last second shot win! and the Greeks were OK too, there was a close up to bourousis with him laughing too :P

I think both teams tried to win, jsut not too much...maybe none in both teams had the guts to say to the players "please lose" , and certenly noone said that to the french guy that scored the last shot :P

France's tactics were clearly wrong. However, they managed 2 win, so I think this will pay off 4 them.

I'm sorry but some of the comments in this thread are just funny. France rested Parker in an attempt to lose and Greece played at about 50% the whole game in an attempt to lose. The rest of the French players played maybe 50% in the second half.

It's hilarious to me that anyone thinks this was a serious game. The bottom line is though that I think France is going home early now.

I was right once again.I hope both teams get kicked out next round after tonight's comedy.I pity the people who paid to see this.

At least this wasn't as bad as some late season games in your precious NBA where teams try to tank to get a better chance to a lottery in the drafts. At least, both Greece with Spanoulis with the 3pointer and France with De Colo, which was also guarded, not left alone, even though they obviously didn't want the first place, they tried in the end, even if that sounds like an oxymoron.
