But In Crotia , I am afraid of Prkacin, Kasun, Vujicic. We are all better than Crotia but only In centers, they are better and I am afraid that they use this in the match. I will analyse them in Germany match more clearly.
When I look Russia, they achieve being more team than Crotia but they have limitted squad. We are all better than Russia. Anyway, choosing opponent is bad thing. If we are strong, we must face with our fears. May be Meetiing with Greece would be good theraphy for this
Why not. You are so right about that maybe a little bold, but you got it very good.

All right you make your analysis tomorrow again, and we will think about it

I have said this but I really don't want Greece in quarter final

Erazem Lorbek is gonna be the best player we will have faced in the whole tournament. Clearly. Amazing player.

We should win. And we are gonna play for the win. Choosing opponent is the silliest idea, and I don't believe it can be true with teams of this level.

So funny how every team looks for its best match in the quarter finals. I tell you what though,I feel some surprises are comming.

I think this Eurobasket is very unpredictable. I wouldn't be surprised if Croatia run away with the gold, even though they were nowhere near their potential so far.

if Greece lose todays game and go to 3rd place i dont think both teams want to lose and can be a very interesting game. But if France lose i guess both Slovenia and Turkey will use their bench players and will not care who wins.
This is the second most exciting thing you can do it indoor and you can do it in front of thousands. Well you know the first one and bedrooms are a bit small for thousands.

i guess the healthier squad will take this... And that's Slovenia (because i do think Turkoglu will finally be rested)

This win or lose doesn't matter if we want to win medal. because we must beat everybody for medal But We need to rest our injured players like Hidayet,Kerem Tunceri,Onan,Atsur...

I think Turkey should play this game with more player from bench.. The players like Ilyasova, Arslan and Asik should rest and be fresh for the quarter final, that would be very smart..

What only seems negative about slovenian team is that they struggle when they come across a tough defense , i've witnessed that once again in poland-slovenia match , since dragic is also injured , along with beno udrih and matjaz smodis , lakovic will have tough times to command his team (regarding the fact that he's one of the few players that has been on the court more than any other player)
besides turkey is very good locking onto one guy (previous cases logan , navarro ,kristic ) i can say that a hard match is awaiting for lakovic and his friends ,

i expect so a hard fought match , and a win for turkey maybe in OT again?

i think Hedo and Ilyasova will only get their half(maybe even less) of regular minutes

Im very sorry to say it but were done. Some of you are saying this is the game players should be rested, well i think you are wrong. By far the easiest way to get to semis for either of these two teams is to get the better of Croatia-Gremany game which means finishing first in group. With the bench getting shorter each game, we dont realy stand a chance against any of the 1st three teams from group E.
my wote goes to Turkey, I dont see us winning with 7 or 8 players.
Unless we win this we"re goin out in the QF again.

Slovenia is healthier? You know that Simodis and Dragic have some serious injuries right?

Plus, Lorbek got injured in the last game versus Poland, I don't know his status. Udrih also has an injury.

Turkey isn't so healthy with Hedo and Engin suffering some injuries, but you can't say that Slovenia is healthier than us.

Turks are very compact team, but Serbs have done a lot of "torture" yesterday
In the overtime, about 1min30secs before the end it was only one (1 !!!) point on both sides !!!

A lot of (unforced) mistakes, nerves...Serbs had game in their hands...
Both coaches just didn't calm down key players...
and that Duda Ivković & Tanjevič !?!

I believe, that it's time for Turkish team, to get one...
except, if there is a tactical reason to lose game

    Depends on results before...
Turkish team doesn't want Greeks, we don't want Croats...
All in all...it isn't game to die, so the tactics is recommended.

Injuries are hurting us as well the Turks. They will probably rest Turkoglu.
Same rule for Slovenia: Lakovic (mostly him!), Erazem & Boki (Nachbar).

I strongly disagree with idea, to spare Smodis any much longer !
If he is in condition to play, he should play in this game.
The mean machine must warm up !!!

Definitely we mus take the victory, if the chance is there !
1st place and mostly...day of rest more are very good reasons for that.

    I strongly agree...

Turkye & Slovenia are two teams,
who played best basket since on this tournament.

I have no doubts at all, that it will be a beautiful game.

Coach Zdovc said he will try to rest little bit more Jaka Lakovič and Erazem Lorbek against Turkey.

players from bench. For both teams.

You can say what you want, but if Greece doesn't finish 3rd, this game will be totally random. It all depends on how the coaches look at it - will they want to keep the momentum going or will they want to rest key players? I think that both teams have a deep bench so players like Ilyasova and Lorbek might get some rest. It's hard to predict anything here, although if Greece finish 3rd then the game will be very interesting.
