Group F, Day 6 Turkey vs Slovenia

well, i dont think slovenian team will calculate .
Can you imagine that players like Smodiš would speculate with victory or loosing ? No chance he wants to take it all - winers mentality .

I think that game will be similar as the game with Spain - we will check some reserve possibilities.

Turkey ,

I was supriced on defence (all versions) . However Turkoglu ... 3 assists per game (at least yesterday) and he always has 2 players on him selve. This is something we should use ....
Anyway I think that Turkoglu will rest . Others will try to push them selves in order to show Tanjevič that they deserve more chances .,...

Slovenia
They will play as they always play disregarding who is in the team and who is not . And that is our biggest advantage .

Maybe Lakovič will play only 20 minutes , but thats normall as he s tyred and we still dont know what is the status with dragič . So Klobučar should feel the game at least for 15 min - before the quaterfinalls.
Also can you imagine that sentance; Lorbek E will play less -meaning that Smodiš will play for 10 -15 minutes . If he s going to play on this tournament this is the only possibility to start .

So yes, we will test some possiobilities as we have nothing to lose. But the game will be played with out speculations .



I sugest that Slovenia will win - my opinion that we are playing better basketball (more colective ) for whole tournamet (I d bet looking at circumstances for 51%) . Ofcourse i could be wrong looking at only 1 game.

Turky is playing a great basketball in this championship, and i i think they will be in the semi-final for sure with rusia, greece and france, spain won't make it cuz they are not the same any way back to topic, turky will win today with a small margin.

No, it's not about the fear. Consider that you have a choise, do you pick greece or russia,croatia,germany trio for quarterfinals. Greece is much more stronger opponent. I know that they're not playing well for last 3 games, but have potential that none of the above have.

we can for sure win against greece, however playing with them in quarterfinals won't be good for further stage of the tournament. you probably understand what i mean

Glad that Greece lost so this game should have a bearing. The winner will clinch first and set a date with Germany/Croatia. The loser can drop to second or even third and meet Greece or Russia.

So this should be an interesting match now.

Slovenia will win with a small margin of 4-10 points.I think that finally Slovenia will reach the final 4 in this eurobasket.

Tough job for our team. We will probably want to take this.

If we are first we play our biggest rivals Croatia. We are currently alot better but you never know.

If we are second we play Greece. We have some unfinished business and ew'd be motivated as hell. Though Greece is better than Croatia ATM.

If we are third we get Russia. I would like them the most but Serbia has to loose against LTU for us finish on the third place plus we would play quarterfinals the very next day.

We'll see but it will definitly be a very interesting match. But we came here to take a medal so we should fear noone. If we continue how we played till today we'll continue to win.

Slovenia is not my main favorite for this tournament but Turkey is. I don`t want them to face against Greece because they are my other favorite and this can be so boring for me if one of them does not reach to semis.

I hope Turkey win this game.

Btw i love European basketball may be more than Nba. There is so many country, some of them really close the other big basketball nations but nearly all of them have their way to play basketball. After every game i had a different taste in my mouth.

Tanjevıc saıd that he can rest some of hıs players so we shouldnt be surprısed.

I also thınk that Hedo should be rested, he can play but ıf I were Tanjevıc I d not gıve hım more than 10 mınutes not because of hıs bad perfermance but because hıs ınjury should be healed for the quarterfınal match.

And I really belıeve that we can beat Slovenıa even wıthout Hedo. Actually other than Turkey I thınk the best team so far ıs Slovenıa. But we are the best team ın defence by far.
