I see a Spain win.At last Spain managed to win comfortably and easily and that will do wonders for their confidence. They should start loosing up and playing how they can and defeat France.

btw where's the poll?? [Added. rikhardur]

Spain should win because France is very lacking offensively. However, the exact team that causes Spain trouble is one that is physical, plays defense, and is athletic. So France has every chance to beat them if they knock down some jump shots they will. It's just that their shooting is so inconsistent.

I like how the tournament is unfolding for Spain. This team will have a real challenge to get the championship, facing now France and probably Greece in semifinals.

It's hard to predict about tomorrow, but it should be a very different game. With a much more physical defense, Spain could really struggle. However, the confidence boost of these past couple of easy victories should help the Spaniards.

I don't think France or Spain will advance past the semifinal. I see the Spain-France game as a battle and the winner won't beat the Greeks, Turks, or Slovenes after wasting too much energy against each other.

Anyway since the very 1st day of this euro, we were supposed to play low basket IQ, athletic based bball, and lose every single game.

Defensively, our half court defense has nothing to do with polish one (no offense polish people but erm..) and we have imo a bench that can provide more solution than spanish one (except for the frontcourt as usual as reyes will prolly be the usual "prkacin" or "schortsanitis" type that often shines against us). I think we have high chances to win the board battle, so our perimeter defense will be a key factor to win this game. Defending and cuting gasol from the ball as well, ofc. But cuting the pass lines & push any offense to the 24" will prolly be the plan chosen to slow down their offense and make them rely on less shots to build their game.
Unlike previous game parker and diaw will be ofc very important. Like flo pietrus who should be very motivated, hopefully that won't yield too many fools as we badly need him under the rim to lock down reyes & gasol' brother at least. Unless 5/6 spanish players are on spanoulis long range shape, i don't see us having that much trouble playing bad as usual and reaching the semi finale, not necessary against greece

Funnily France killed any momentum they had with De Colo's buzzer beater.I read that Parker is pissed at his teammates for winnin the game(!!) and does not speak to anyone!Disgraceful behavior for an nba champion but anyway.France under normal circumstances could give Spain a hard time but my guess is they'll lose all 3 remaining games and beg for a wild card.I think their locker room is a mess right now.

Parker is the key player of the match. Without Calderon he is superior to any of our guards. Spain will try a zone the most of time attempting to overcome physical superiority of French players. I give a 50% to every team.

I have allready arranged that Spain will loose with Slovenia in the finals. I don't see why these threads should be open.

Until this afternoon I considered France the favorite. From the moment I read this report in a greek site I'm starting 2 change my mind. Probably by tomorrow I'll b convinced that Spain will win. Today's performance doesn't affect my vote(which I haven't cast yet).

Arkadios is Greek, I don't know why he has put the French flag, I suppose he lives in France now.
