Default Placement 5-8 : Turkey vs France

    here we go

    France vs Turkey

    Quarter Finals losses :

France had 48 hours to rest while Turkey has just less than 24.

    I hope turkiye wins!!

But France will be far more motivated to win the WC ticket.
I don't think that either of these teams will have dealt well with their losses,so it most probably will be a sh!tty match.

IMO Serbia and Greece are more talented than France and Turkey, but less experienced.

Respect to Hedo and Parker. May the best one win! Would like to watch this game!

France maybe but Greece come on... its not talent that wins games for Greece.

If you ask me tomorrow I will say gritty play & defense but if you ask me today I will say 28 seconds of offense... this team is not talented but still they are in the semis. Anyway when we command so much respect from the refs we will be a force recon with...

Important game not just for France, but for Russia and the loser of Croatia/Slovenia.

If France wins the 7th place game is just for pride

If Turkey wins the 7th place game is for a spot in the WC.

I think France can steal a win here because i assume that our players are already on the way back home.

    who cares?
i hope france will be in 7th and they will come to turkey next year.
Before this tournament, i knew our quality and passion. but thanks to poland2009, i believe to win turkey2010. Hedo,Ersan,Omer Asık are really good players and i am sure ersan and omer will be very good nba players. Also we have all star center"mehmet okur". i hope he will play on 2010.
And we will probably see the enes kanter in the squad. He was born in 1992. and i think he will be chosen on first 5 at 2011 nba draft. He was the mvp of the 2009 u18 championship. And we have really talented pg whose name is safak edge. he achieved to enter allstar squad of u18. but because of his injury he couldn't play yesterday at katowice. Anyway our new generation is really talented. We should use all important players and talented youngs for the win the turkey2010.

Enough is enough friend. For a team that has achieved nothing , you got some nerve talking about talent. Show some respect...

Turks play just for their pride...They are already qualified for WC as hosts of that Tournament.France is more motivated for sure and I expect that they will win this game one way or another...

Yes of course....what about balls, guts, big baskets at the right moment! No need to say that Greece is by far better than Turkey on the important games, actually is one of the best in the world on this, you know; the games that count
The above are the simple reasons why Greece won the game tonight...as for refs, I bet my house that they played 60%-40% to Turkey.
    However, that is MHO
    Big good luck to Turkey

Turkey to win the WC? Are you joking? What, do you think that the USA, Argentina, and 5-6 European teams would bend down for the 19 years old "super kid" to take them?
I mean come on, put your head under cold water and shake it a bit.

France will be the winner tomorrow

When you consider the home advantage Turkey will have I think it would be fair to say that Turkey will be amongst the favorites to win the WC, maybe not the favorite though.

They will be amongst the favorites to win a medal. Remember many teams in this Eurobasket are going to show up stronger at the WC. Players like Calderon, Papas, DD, Rakocevic and many many others will join the club in Turkey. Ad USA and Argentina to that and be careful about any gold medal predictions.

Its not about history my friend... its about the team you have here. Don't kid yourselfs this team is not talented in the sense of Slovenia, Spain & Turkey is. But kudos to you you manage to win the important games. Maybe I overreacted about the refs but if you were in my shoes you would be upset too. Anyway wish you look against Spain... you will need it.
