That are probably all real Rwandans. But it's a provisional list and for the All-Africa Games...

Here we go again. Qatarwanda is back for more.

Rwanda named their provisional squad for Madagascar. And once again, we have our old friends back in the team as well as some new ones in the mix.
Now it's FIBA's turn to clean up the roster.
This is, what I was able to find out:

    Rwanda' provisional 21-man squad:

    Aristide Mugabe (Espoir)
    Jean Louis Habineza (Espoir)
    Pascal Karekezi (Espoir)
    Rafiki Mohammed (APR)
    Karim Nkusi (CSK)
    Aboubacar Barame ( CSK)
    Fiston Muhire (KBC)
    Amandin Rutayisire (KBC)
Gael Somayire (Wilkes University, USA. - Intramural team only - formerly of APR)
Daniel Rugamba (Last at Seattle Community College, USA)
Hamza Ruhezamihigo (Born in Burundi, lives in Canada)
    Jonathan Gasirabo (Olds College, Canada)
Christophe Masabo (APR) -> No data found to this player. Might be a young player or as well an import.

    Import players:
Kami Kabange (APR - From the DRC)
DaMarcus Ellis Kayijuka (KBC - U.S. Citizen) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9fgogvpK3BY
Brad Cameron (Clay HS Indiana - U.S. Citizen)
    Robert Thomson (Cluj-Napoca,Romania - U.S. Citizen)
Kenneth Gasana Wilson (Texas Fuel - U.S. Citizen)
    Matt Miller (U.S. Citizen)
Manga Kimbuy (ABS Mazembe - DRC Citizen) http://archive.fiba.com/pages/eng/fa...und/index.html
    Cedric Isom (Petro Luanda,Angola - U.S. Citizen)

I don’t think this is the right guy. It's Brad Cameron (from Indiana, not sure if he plays in college) who plays for Rwanda.

You were right. Brad Cameron from Berrien Springs at Clay HS in 2009. Since then nothing.

    In other news:

"Rwanda’s basketball team is expected to play Angola and Luxembourg in their two-week training camp in Paris, France next month, the basketball federation boss Lt. Eric Ssalongo has confirmed."

Five Americans on the team. At least no new ones allowed by Fiba.

Wow! I thought it was an aberration. I can forgive Robert Thomson, who I've followed for many years and seems to be a sincere guy, but the Rwandan NT just keeps on recruiting...
"I really like the attitudes of eagles. They never give up. When they grab a fish or something else, they never let it go. It doesn't matter. In a book, they write they find a skeleton of [an] eagle and there is no fish. It means that the fish beat him and killed him, but he didn't let go." -- Donatas Motiejunas

I´m alway surprised that they choose mostly poor Americans... Bradley, Ellis, Miller are more likely bad players... European leagues are full of much better players then these triad...

Here we go again. New coach but same familiar faces...

"The provisional 26-man squad will include six professional players, namely; Dan Rugamba (Seattle Community College, USA), Ruhezamihigo (Concordia, Canada), Kenneth Herbert Gasana (Ass Charab Al Hoaciema, Morocco), Isom Cedric (Primiero do Agosto, Angola), Brannon Darrius (Corr. Victoria, Mexico) and Bradley (Mississipi Gulf Coast College, USA)."

Two new faces in men hoops team

COACH Moise Mutokambali has added two players in his squad ahead of this year’s Fiba Zone V Basketball Championships, which starts on January 21 in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.

The two players are Cercle Sportif de Kigali’s new signing Gedega Bunene Kajeguhakwa and Thierry Sukusuku, who plays for Lagnieu in the French third division.

Sukusuku, 24, who stands at 1,94’, was born in Kigali to a Congolese father and a Rwandan mother.

“The two players are training with the rest of the team but there is no guarantee that they will be in my final team for the tournament. I added them in a bid to strength the provisional squad and it’s upon them to stake their claim in the final team,” Mutokambali told Times Sport yesterday.

Only one professional, Dan Rugamba, who plays for Seattle Community College in the USA has joined the training camp.

Others including; Canada-based Hamza Ruhezamihigo, Isom Cedric (Primiero do Agosto, Angola), Brannon Darrius (Corr. Victoria, Mexico) and Bradley Cameron Curtis (Mississippi Gulf Coast College, USA) are expected to enter camp this week, while Kenneth Gasana will arrive on January 14.

The team will be without two key star players Robert Thompson and Mathew Miller, who are currently without teams. Rwanda won the Zone V championships in 2011.

    So we have:
Danny Rugamba, who did not play in a pro league or college the last years.
Brad Cameron, who only played some high school-ball in Indiana.
Kenny Wilson, who did not play in Morocco this season but the year before.
Oh, and SukuSuku from a French amateur-league.
