Default Alex Dragicevich (SG/SF 6'7 1991 Notre Dame)

Alex Dragicevich has a handle and a shot; the Notre Dame coaching staff slipped him in to a number of games to get his basketball feet wet instead of redshirting him; they must have liked what he could provide in practice. Expect to see more of Drag-A.

I expect a breakout season from him. Alex is a guy that’s got just so huge potential that I think he is ready to grab the opportunity offered by the departure of senior shooting guard Ben Hansbrough.

    Real Madrid- Stanford Cardinal

Nastic opened the second period with a series of nifty post moves to both sides while consistently drawing contact in the post

Default Two Serbians commit to USC.

Danilo Dragovic (SG 196 1992) commited for the upcoming year and he will joined by Strahinja Gavrilovic (F 201 1993) for the 2012-13 season. Gavrilovic was on serbian U18 NT wide list but didn't make the team.

USC Trojans Basketball Roster Addition: Danilo Dragovic, Brother Of UCLA Star Nikola

Desperate times call for desperate measures. And for the USC Trojans basketball team, short their top scorer, producer and best guard, things could not be more desperate for their 2011-12 campaign. They had to call on an old friend. Well, not really a friend. More like a former foe, who kind of turned into a friend when his teams got pummeled in head-to-head matchups.

USC Associate Head Coach Bob Cantu tweets that a Dragovic is coming to Los Angeles basketball--Danilo Dragovic, a 6'4" combo guard from North Hollywood-Harvard Westlake. If that name sounds familiar, it's because it is. Danilo is the brother of former UCLA Bruins forward Nikola Dragovic, which makes you wonder how much Nikola is pumping the blue and gold pom-poms in the family.

Nikola wasn't much beloved by the UCLA fanbase because of erratic shooting and effort in games. Not much is known of Danilo because he didn't play his senior season after failing to gain eligibility, but USC could use any hands right now, even ones they're not sure will do anything productive. Danilo has said Nikola has sped up his development to American rules, so he might be further along to help out the Trojans earlier rather than later.

Strahinja Gavrilovic, a 6-foot-8, 220-pound forward from Serbia who is enrolled at a prep school near San Diego for the upcoming season, committed to USC during an official recruiting visit over the weekend, a source said Sunday.

Gavrilovic, 18, is a likely power forward at the next level but one who can consistently knock down 3-pointers. He has not played a high school game in the United States after moving from overseas earlier this year. He'll play his senior season at La Jolla Prep School near San Diego, a new basketball academy started this year, where he'll be coached by Gary Trousdale.

The Trojans had been recruiting him for roughly a year. Like freshman walk-on Danilo Dragovic, a fellow Serbian, he was recently turned on to USC by the progress of former Trojan Nikola Vucevic, who turned himself into a first-round pick in the NBA draft during his three years at USC.

Gavrilovic becomes USC's second commitment in the class of 2012, joining Phoenix-area guard Larry Lewis, who committed to the Trojans in March 2010.

    UNIVERSIDAD STANFORD, 70
    FC BARCELONA REGAL, 85

    Universidad Stanford (22+10+19+19): Brown (5 ), Randle (16 ), Mann (12 ), Huestis (5 ), Zimmermann – cinc inicial – Powell (6 ), Nastic (9 ), Bright (12 ), Lemmons, Gage ( 3), Evans (1 2), Trotter.

    FC Barcelona Regal (18+26+19+22): Vázquez (12 ), Ndong (7 ), Rabaseda (12 ), Eidson (28 ), Mickeal (5 ) – cinco inicial – Wallace (6 ), Abdoulaye (4 ), Creus, Pérez ( 2), García, Spires, Marzo, Zhigulin, Aparicio (9 ), Hakanson

Another good game for Nastic (C 211 1992) with 9 points (2/3 for 2, 5/7 free throws) especially considering he played against Euroleague veterans Fran Vasquez & Boniface N'Dong. He seems to improve very well which is a really good news for our basketball.

I like the mobility from the clip. Drawing fouls vs seasoned euro veterans is a good sign if yet during prep games. From my understanding Nastic was on Serbian u-19 roster but was injured.

    Is he 6"11 or 7"0?
