    Default 09-10 NBA All-Star Weekend

Who would you want to see for the all star festivities?

We know the fans will vote in the starters for the East and the West... And most likely (stupid) fans will (again) vote in the (useless) Tracy Mcgrady...

How about the sideshows? Who do you want to see in the Dunk Contest? In the Three Point Shootout?

My wish list for the dunk tilt would be: Rudy Gay (let's give him another shot), Demar Derozan (heard he has mad hops) among others..

While in the 3point shooting, i'd want Channing Frye to be there--- just for the sake of cheering for a big man winning it...

    All Star game:
    The Starters should be.

    East:
F: James (1st voted by fans)
F: Bosh (not in the top2), fans want KG
C: Howard (1st voted by fans so far)
G: Wade (1st voted by fans so far)
G: Rondo (not in the top2), fans want AI

    West:
F: Anthony (1st voted by fans so far)
F: Dirk (2nd voted by fans so far)
C: Amare (1st voted by fans so far)
G: Kobe (1st voted by fans so far)
G: Nash (2nd voted by fans so far) (T-Mac?, come on china, give me a break).

I want to see Lebron in the dunk contest, I don't want him to win though..

I'm having trouble deciding who should start as PG in the Rookie vs. Sophomores.

    nba.com has been dangling:

    1. PG Tyreke Evans
    SG James Harden

    or

    2. PG Brandon Jennings
    SG Demar DeRozan

    SF should be Omri Casspi

While Blake Griffin should still be considered and be given benefit of the doubt.

i completely forgot about the Knicks' Gallinari. i'd want him in the shootout too. Heck, even during regular season games he's treating it like's he's in the three-point shootout already.

As for Lebron in the dunk contest, i'd love to see him there but doubt it will ever happen at all.

Ridiculous indeed. Oh well, we do know there are some stupid, bias basketball fans around the world so i wouldn't say i am surprised.

Then again, i'd want him to be voted in. Why? So that the league will realize that the process (fans vote) is in itself a stupid idea. It needs a tweak. Something like 60 per cent fans decision and 40 percent coaches choice. That should make things right a little bit and will avoid situations such as this one.

On the 3pt shooting contest, I would like to see at least the following:

    Danilo Gallinari

    CJ Watson

    Dirk Nowitzki

    Channing Frye

I'd rather have only rondo in the all star and the rest of the aging c's stars to take a breather and rest.

I also want eddie house on the 3 point shootout.

Its surprising that none of the 3-point marksman of Nowitzki or Terry are participating to defend their turf.

Assuming KG is injured come All-Star Game; Bosh could take his place as starter.
