Too bad Sudan and DR Congo were not able to take part in this tournament. These countries could have been competitive if only they were able to keep the citizenship of some of their prized players.
Imagine Sudan being led by Luol Deng, Duany Duany, Kueth Duany, Deng Gai and Longar Longar.
Congo, meanwhile, could have been led by DJ Mbenga and Serge Ibaka, who now play for Belgium and Spain, respectively.
Anyway, his last experiences have always been a mess. Maybe this time, he is not the only one to blame, since i think many people in Angolan coaches, etc... may not have been too happy to see a foreign coach, while it is quite a nice place to have in African basketball to coach Angola, but his apparently very authoritarian personnality may not have helped.
It was the same last time he coached France, although he had a very tough situation, the players really could not stand him and his decisions.
It's a bird? It's a plane? No, it's Rudy!
