Mark, there will be plenty of games; probably some good play-off games in Los Angeles around that time. I think that you can search on Google for something like "Los Angeles Lakers play-off tickets," you'll find a lot of options. I think that TicketMaster is the biggest seller of sports tickets in the US, so you can try them. If you're there in May, I'm sure you can find a good LA Lakers game. Good luck!

Before Bogut had an injury ending season, I was hoping for the Bucks to make some noise in the playoffs.

I'm hoping the Lakers get beat in first round or second round, so that Kobe AND Gasol play this summer in Turkey.

Anyways, I think (3) Utah & (4) Denver will be in WCF and (1) Cleveland & (3) Atlanta in ECF.

Then I say either Utah or Denver play Cleveland in Finals with Cleveland winning champ.

There's going to be a big battle Wednesday night for the 8th spot in the East. As I understand it, if Chicago loses to Boston (in Chicago) and Toronto beats New York (in Toronto), Toronto goes. If Chicago beats Boston or Toronto loses to New York, Chicago goes. Something like that.

Looks like you might need to make an edit to the list, Kings!!

    Was about to say/ask that.

The only match-ups that are set are:

Charlotte vs. Orlando and Oklahoma vs. Los Angeles which means... Our threadstarter will have lots to edit because everything is STILL up in the air with 2 playing dates to go!
IF THERE IS NO BASKETBALL IN HEAVEN, I AM NOT GOING.

    Makes it exciting, doesn't it?

I hope San Antonio doesn't get matched up against Dallas in the first round. I want to see San Antonio in the Western Finals.

I think you can do an search from the website for "NBA" games and then click around to find games in LA. Another option might be going to Phoenix, Portland, or Utah, depending on how much time and money you have to spend for an NBA game.

EAST - Not many good match-ups here. The Boston/Miami series might be close, but I don't think the games will be very good. Cleveland and Orlando should walk their way through the first round.

Cleveland 4-0 Chicago - Rose is OK, Noah is OK, but Cleveland is great at every position
Orlando 4-0 Charlotte - Charlotte can't match up against Orlando
Atlanta 4-3 Milwaukee - This is wishful thinking. With Bogut, I would predict a Milwaukee win in the series. Without him, they can still fight, but can't be successful. Maybe 3 wins for them?
Boston 4-3 Miami - Boston is falling hard

WEST - This is where the exciting series are. Dallas/San Antonio can go either way and so can Denver/Utah. If any of those four teams were in the East, they would make it to the conference finals to play against Cleveland.

Los Angeles 4-1 Oklahoma - LA's big men have too much skill
Dallas 3-4 San Antonio - I've got a bad feeling for Dallas. I like both these teams a lot, so I hate to see either of them lose in the first round. I guess I'll go with San Antonio to win the series.
Portland 2-4 Phoenix - Portland might be cute, but Phoenix is fast and skilled
Denver 4-3 Utah - This series could go either way. I'll pick Denver just because they have the better regular season record.

I am inclined to agree with that.

If Bynum is is ineligible for a couple of games in this series, i can smell an upset. Fisher is everything but an elite pg (on both ends), Bryant is not in shape + finger injury and his backup Vujacic is injured. If Bynum does not play, i would not be surprised to see OKC advancing.

Portland is a symphatetic team. Imagine their potential next season with full rooster (with minor deviations). Hoping they may get far in the play-offs.

I would be surprised if OKC wins. Even if LA doesn't have Bynum, they still have Gasol and Odom. OKC has Collison and Krstic (who I think is injured).

Yes! They are sympathetic. They've got some great players who can really do some damage. I want Oden to get healthy.

Serge Ibaka, C, Oklahoma City Thunder: I love me the Serge! Ibaka has been able to carve out a spot in the Thunder rotation as a defensive specialist and dominant shot-blocker. Since the All-Star break, Ibaka has averaged 7.4 points, 5.8 rebounds and 1.7 blocks, which doesn't seem like much at first glance, but is simply phenomenal considering that he's done all that in just 19.4 minutes per game...He hasn't even begun to touch on his potential as a player yet, and it's scary to think what he'll be able to do after he refines his game a bit.
    from Espn

Serge Ibaka has been averaging a double double lately
He had 5 blocks last night
He can go deep too, he has pretty good range for his size.
if you ask me it seems like Krstic will be heading to Europe pretty soon

    anyway, my predictions:
    1st Round
    EAST:
    Cleveland Cavaliers 4 : 2 Chicago Bulls

    Orlando Magic 4 : 3 Charlotte Bobcats

    Atlanta Hawks 4 : 0 Milwaukee Bucks

    Boston Celtics 4
    : 2 Miami Heat

    WEST
Los Angeles Lakers 4 : 3 Oklahoma City Thunder

Dallas Mavericks 4 : 2 San Antonio Spurs

Phoenix Suns 4 : 1 Portland Trail Blazers (with Brandon Roy, this series would definitely be 4:3 in favor of Phoenix but since Roy is not going to play in the First Round, injured, there's no chance Portland win this)

    Denver Nuggets 3 : 4 Utah Jazz

    For me it's:

    East

    Cavs 4-2 Bulls
    Magic 4-0 Bobcats
    Hawks 4-1 Bucks

    Lakers 4-1 Thunder
    Mavs 4-2 Spurs
