Former Serbian National Team player Vule Avdalovic (189-G-81, agency: Beo Basket) shined at the French All-Star game which was played last Thursday in Paris. The 29-year-old point guard participated at the All-Star 3-point Shootout Contest and managed to win the first place. Avdalovic smashed his rivals with 21 points in the Semifinals and 19 points in the Final Round. He made 12 consecutive shots in the Semis.
Vule Avdalovic moved to France last summer signing a deal with Cholet. He appeared 10 times for the reigning champion in ProA averaging 11.4 points, 1.5 rebounds and 3.2 assists. His team shares the first place with Roanne. In Euroleague, Avdalovic appeared 10 times registering 8.5 ppg, 1.8 rpg and 3.6 apg. Cholet failed to reach the Top16. They were very close to make it, but Lietuvos Rytas surprisingly beat Regal Barca in Round 9 and it was a crucial game for the Lithuanian squad and at the same time for Cholet.
Before Cholet, Vule Avdalovic spent one season in Meridiano Alicante. From 2005 to 2009 he was a member of Valencia and before that spent many years with Partizan Belgrade. Avdalovic played for the Serbian National Team from 2003 to 2006.
