    - After long negotiations, Cremona officially signed Ukrainian SF Artur Drozdov.
The team had agreed to terms with Luke Jackson, but due his wife's pregnancy he couldn't leave USA, so Cremona opted for Drozdov.

    - Virtus Bologna and Roma are negotiating with Charles Smith.

    - With the signing of Oleksiy Pecherov Milano's roster is done.

Morris Finley (USA) - Ibrahim Jaaber (USA/Bulgaria)
David Hawkins (USA) - Marco Mordente
Jonas Maciulis (Lithuania) - Stefano Mancinelli - Gabriele Ganeto
Oleksiy Pecherov (Ukraine) - Niccolò Melli
Marijonas Petravicius (Lithuania) - Mason Rocca (USA/Italy)

    - Dee Brown's hesitations led Sassari to sign Travis Diener as their starting PG in their first season ever in Serie A.

Travis Diener (USA) - Mauro Pinton
Dimitris Tsaldaris (Greece) - Brian Sacchetti
James White (USA) - Giacomo Devecchi
Jiri Hubalek (Czech Rep.) - Manuel Vanuzzo
Othello Hunter (USA) - Alessandro Cittadini

Sassari look really bad i think ... Hubalek and Vanuzzo were good for legadue but for Lega A??? dont think so...
Hunter solid center but Cittadini?? he come from 3rd league... PG good Diener but bad Pinton... even bad backup in brindisi...Tsaldaris and Saccheti both below average SG...White with DeVecchi can be the best position of Sassari...

on the other hand Brindisi looks really good... Dixon +Monroe looks really nice...Williams under basket with Bavcic is better than Hunter-Citta... with diawara they can be between 8th and 10th spot i think...

    - Roma is about to sign Charles Smith.

    - Virtus Bologna is interested in rookie SG/SF Patrick Christopher (California).

    - Biella signed Brazilian PF Jonathan Tavernari (BYU) to a multi-year deal. He's about to get an Italian passport. In any case, he'll be sent elsewhere on loan for the current season.

Charles Smith is pretty old, I don't know how good he will be.

Angelo Gigli got injured: 2 months out...
I guess the "danger" they keep Tourè is even more concrete now.

    - It seems Kris Lang's demands didn't match with the offer made by Brindisi. If things remain the same here, then Brindisi will opt for someone else. Courtney Sims and Charles Gaines may be the other options...

    - Travis Diener got injured (hamstring) and will be sidelined for at least 1 month. Sassari may look for a temporary replacement.

Sassari agreed to terms with veteran (38 years old) Randolph Childress. He will sign a short-term deal, which can be extended in case T. Diener doesn't recover from his injury.

    Hi,
I'm looking from some help and I'm pretty sure that this is the right topic. Anyway, Do you know a website, where there are all the current signings for the season in the italian league? Something like this: http://www.acb.com/mercado.php for the ACB

Maybe someone knows, did Lottomatica close their roster or still looking for some player (if I remember correctly they needed to strenghten SF position)? And what about Toure, he finally stays? Thnx

    Edit: maybe things are different.
Heytvelt and Gigli are injured so Vladimir Dasic has joined the team for practices. I guess he may get a contract if the above mentioned players stay hurt.

Boyd20, is Moss going to stay for the season after all, or are they going to send him on loan again once Hairston is back?

He should stay for the whole season. He's really playing well in these friendlies, it seems he feels at ease now that he's going to be a team-player again and not the main offensive weapon as it frequently happened with Virtus Bologna.

Varese's going to bring back Ron Slay, who left Maroussi in the previous weeks.
Slay will replace injured rookie Dwayne Collins.

Slay is a very good offensive player, certainly better than Collins, but Varese needed a different kind of C (with rebounding and low-post skills at both sides of the floor, like Collins) to play next to perimeter-oriented guys like Galanda and Kangur. Slay's not very athletic, is just a fine rebounder and sure he plays better with his front to the basket.

So, as anticipated, Ron Slay is back and signed a 1-yr deal with Varese.

Caserta finally signed Eric Williams, who's now getting a European passport. This means that disappointing Olu Oyedeji is going to be released, as expected.

Chris Monroe (Brindisi) is injured, 2 months out. Anthony Roberson is coming.

Is it true they're thinking of releasing him?
