Default bullied' them all (chicago bulls)

with the signings of boozer, they now get an offensive force down low plus the energy of noah and with the emerging of a new era in bulls with rose at the helm expect them to bully their opponents

    current line up of bulls

    joakim noah C
    carlos boozer F
    taj gibson F
    james johnson F
    luol deng F
    derrick rose PG

with noah, boozer and rose they now have a triumvirate that will lead this team's assault..

I'm still not convinced that Chicago is going to be all that great. Boozer is super. He's a great player. But I still don't have much faith in Rose and Noah. Deng is good, but he's lost a lot of sharpness. We'll see what Chicago does.

I agree. I think Rose is one of the most overrated players in the NBA right now. He isn't a very good defender, outside shooter and he's a little better than average passer for a PG.
Deng had his best year 3 years ago and hasn't looked as good since. Boozer and Noah will be strong down low but they need someone to be transcendent for them to be a championship threat. Chicago fans believe that person will be Rose and I'm not so sure

Optimistic or not, i tend to believe boozer is the perfect fit for noah. And the FA period is not over yet, they still have the opportunity to boost their current roster, the big plus would still be to chase for the perfect fit at sg & sf (providing deng will still be shoped). With a defensive minded sg and a powerful sf (iguodala, wallace and alike)

I am just disappointed that they did not get outlaw, he would have been an interesting offensive tool coming from the bench especially considering that the bulls will prolly control the boards.

But seriously for me the "winners" from FAgency are the bulls, i don't believe a single sec the trio in miami will provide anything than marketing value (unless we have a biased officiating will lead to a ft contest for miami). There's just one ball and i can't see who's gonna accept to sacrifice his ego & fg's for the other (and i pass on the defensive end).

well miami got lebron, bosh and wade, i hope the bulls will fill up their roster nicely that can challenge the heat, and see what will happen when they face in the playoffs.. nothing is unbeatable with a great defense and a nice teamwork.. lebron, wade and bosh knew that.. remember the 2006 world championships

Speaking of defense, the Bulls will be on a better condition in terms on the potentiality of improving their overall defense as Tom Thibodeau will be at the helm; Boston Celtic's former defensive assistant coach.
    Draft Wishlist:
    PG Michael Carter-Williams / 21 yrs. old / 6'5
    PF Livio Jean-Charles / 19 yrs. old / 6'9

defense will be the key for this season for the bulls.. i am still waiting for their next move that now lebron james will play for the heat..i think they can sign another marquee player or involved in a sign and trade..

Most likely, the Bulls could pursue the free agents left on the market. Failing to land another max contract player is a blessing in disguise.

On some of the AP articles, they were talking about how Dwayne Wade loves Mike Miller. Clearly they need a shooter and a big man, so Mike Miller fills one of those roles.
"I really like the attitudes of eagles. They never give up. When they grab a fish or something else, they never let it go. It doesn't matter. In a book, they write they find a skeleton of [an] eagle and there is no fish. It means that the fish beat him and killed him, but he didn't let go." -- Donatas Motiejunas

Miller will probably sign in Miami, so he's off the table.

We obviously need a SG, so we have 2 options:
    1. Use the cap space to sign some of the remaining free agents: Kyle Korver (Unrestricted), Anthony Morrow (Restricted), JJ Redick (Restricted) or Roger Mason (Unrestricted). The best option here is probably Korver because he's unrestricted (It'd hard getting Morrow and Reddick without overpaying).

    2. Get a shooting guard through trade. In my opinion, Rip Hamilton is a good fit next to Rose because he's a good shooter that doesn't need the ball in his hands to be effective (good catch & shoot player) and is a capable defender. But he had a terrible season last year, his contract is bad and he'll be 33 next year. Jason Richardson is another nice option but his contract is an expiring and Phoenix could try getting something better than just TPE+2nd rounder for him. I can't think of any other realistic option via trade (Allen, Mayo...).

    Default asik to the bulls

    http://www.interbasket.net/news/2010...chicago-bulls/

they already signed asik, but i like the bulls to re-signed brad miller for backing up noah at 5 position.. with korver on the mix and possibly redick, the bulls now have legitimate outside threat

this is the updated line up of bulls

    g derrick rose
    g cj watson
    g brewer
    g/f korver
    f deng
    f johnson
    f gibson
    f boozer
    c asik
    c noah

right now the bulls have 10 players under contract which is 3 below the mandated 13 man line up they still lacking on a 3rd point guard behind rose and watson same as their center position, they only have noah and a rookie in asik..their forward positions look good with boozer and deng with gibson, johnson and sometimes korver at 3..another position that they need to address is the 2 guard position they only have brewer and korver they need a slasher type of player to complete this line up plus a veteran that will guide the young guns

The Bulls are wary against their Central division rival, the Milwaukee Bucks who is much a force to be reckoned with on the East.
