    GAME 1:

    MENORCA 79–55 MELILLA

The whites swept the blues in the first game of the promotion playoffs finals. Nice first quarter of the crew of Berrocal (26–15), but Melilla came back and went to the halftime only trailing by 3 (41–38).

In the third quarter, the great defense and good offensive decisions, allowed Menorca to break the game (26–5 this quarter). The last period was for the lol, and 3,500 people (not full) celebrated the first win.

MENORCA (26+15+26+12): Jiménez (11), Navarro (13), Bas (10), Otegui (6) and Arteaga (12). Also played Blanch (10), Coppenrath (8), Pérez (3), Bravo (0), Matalí (2) and Pardina (0). Coach: Josep Maria Berrocal.

MELILLA (15+23+5+12): Riera (4), Arco (9), Suka-Umu (9), Manzano (8) and Wachsmann (6). Also played Odiakosa (13), Marco (0), Frutos (1), Romero (1) and Almazán (4). Coach: Gonzalo García de Vitoria.

Taylor Coppenrath (white) looks for the rebound covered by Salva Arco (left) and Chuckwudinma Odiakosa.

    GAME 2:

    MENORCA 82–77 MELILLA

The homers also win the second game in the LEB Gold finals and only needs one more win to promote to ACB with Canarias. This game was tougher than the first one. Teams tied every time, and Melilla leading the game since the second quarter, after a technical to Jorge Jiménez.

Salva Arco was on fire and he led the north-African team. Also, the fantastic performance at FT allowed them to play easier (finally 22/25). After Melilla leading by 6 during the third quarter, Jorge Jiménez started to conduct his guys to the win. Arteaga and Coppenrath dominated in the low post and with two minutes left, a threepointer of Romà Bas decided the game.

In the last minute, an unsportmanlike of Salva Arco (it wasn't imo) killed the options of Melilla.

MENORCA (23+17+19+23): Jiménez (16), Navarro (7), Bas (7), Otegui (6) and Arteaga (12). Also played Blanch (4), Coppenrath (13), Pérez (9), Bravo (5), Morentin (0) and Matalí (3). Coach: Josep Maria Berrocal.

MELILLA (17+21+26+13): Riera (17), Arco (22), Suka-Umu (11), Manzano (2) and Wachsmann (8). Also played Odiakosa (11), Marco (3), Romero (0) and Almazán (3). Coach: Gonzalo García de Vitoria.

David Navarro looks for a pass. Marcos Suka-Umu watching.

    GAME 3:

    SALVA ARCO 79–74 MENORCA

Melilla forces the fouth game after a big win at Pabellón Javier Imbroda. The first quarter, with 26–12 and the three point shooting efficience was decissive for the game. Specially Salva Arco, who nailed 8/9 threepointers and finished the game with 36 points (39 of PIR). Menorca defended well and made a great comeback in the second half, after trailing by 19. Led by Jorge Jiménez and Marc Blanch, tried to play fast for finished the series, but that wasn't possible. Arco's inspiration and a 2+1 of Héctor Manzano finished the story. On friday, the fourth game.

MELILLA (26+17+13+23): Riera (11), Arco (36), Suka-Umu (8), Manzano (11) and Wachsmann (6). Also played Odiakosa (7), Marco (0), Romero (0) and Almazán (0). Coach: Gonzalo García de Vitoria.

MELILLA (12+12+19+31): Jiménez (13), Navarro (7), Bravo (3), Arteaga (3) and Morentin (5). Also played Bas (0), Blanch (22), Coppenrath (12), Pérez (0), Otegui (5) and Matalí (4). Coach: Josep Maria Berrocal.

Héctor Manzano (blue) and Óliver Arteaga jump for the tip off.

    GAME 4:

    MELILLA 63–82 MENORCA

Finally, Menorca comes back to ACB one year after its relegation. Menorca needed about 15 minutes to make the first high differences. In the second half, Menorca leaded by 26 and finally, an easy game allows them the ticket for the 2012–13 ACB season. Congratulations!

MELILLA (17+12+16+18): Riera (5), Arco (12), Suka-Umu (18), Manzano (5) and Wachsmann (10). Also played Odiakosa (2), Marco (2), Romero (9) and Almazán (0). Coach: Gonzalo García de Vitoria.

MENORCA (17+22+25+18): Jiménez (0), Navarro (4), Bas (14), Arteaga (12) and Otegui (12). Also played Blanch (5), Coppenrath (15), Pérez (4), Bravo (3), Morentin (5), Matalí (8) and Pardina (0). Coach: Josep Maria Berrocal.

    The end.
