Actually Jarvis Varnado and Keith Waleskowski seem to be the most intriguing big men in the league.
Varnado is the best blocker in the history of the NCAA basketball. I am watching his stats in Lega Due every weekend and i am not surprised at all with his numbers. He is a defensive monster!

I still wonder, why he didn't sign with a bigger European club than Pistoia...

@boyd20: Do you how much is his contract salary in Italy?

Don't know about his salary, but I guess he doesn't earn that much. He was offered to some Serie A teams, but they weren't convinced about his size and offensive skills, they thought it was better for him to spend his rookie season in LegaDue and work on his game.
If he stays in Europe, I'm pretty sure he'll remain in Italy next year to play for a team in Serie A; that's what happened to players like McIntyre, Sato, Nicholas, Howell, Hawkins, JT Smith and many others.

BTW: Great losing effort by Joe Crispin in the weekend. He scored 40 points in 38 minutes, but still his team (Barcellona) lost in Rimini (95-91) after 1 O.T.
Crispin is averaging 26.8 ppg so far.

    Default Leonessa brescia

    Hallo,
this is my first thread. I'm fan of Basket Leonessa Brescia which will play next season in Lega DUE. So, i'm here to ask information about two our players: Deividas Busma and Ryan Thompson. Anyone know them? Are they good for Lega Due?

Hi. I don't know about Brescia team and their level but I know about Deividas Bušma. (Bušma is pronounced like "Bushma"). He is C with good body and nice offensive game in the paint. As his strength I may name his close range shooting and shot-blocking. I've heard about him signing with Brescia few days before it was announced so I managed to get some videos of him playing in NCAA (because I haven't seen him before, too) - if you are interested in it, contract me and I'll write you a link to it.

Also, in about week or so I may write some kind like a scouting report in my blog.

    Thank you Sagenas.
I'll be glad to watch some videos about him.

    Deividas Busma
    Ryan Thompson
