Reports say Brunei is pulling-out of the ABL and its team to be taken-over by a Malaysian team but which is still to be based in the island of Borneo.

The China team must probably be the old team of Sun Yue which is the Beijing Aoshen Olympians, which used to be the only privately owned team in the Chinese Basketball Association (CBA) and is now playing in the West Coast Pro Basketball League in the US. The team also seen action in the American Basketball Association (ABA) also of the US. They also played exhibition series versus teams from the Super Basketball League (SBL) of Chinese-Taipei and from Australia's National Basketball League (NBL).

I don't know if it's Aoshen, but playing in West Coast Pro Basketball League was in the spring of 2009, it's been two years. Exhibition games against SBL teams was in 2004. Might as well mention the fact that Aoshen did spend on year based in Singapore, it's more relevant to the thread.
