OK Russia will win this one but Ivory Coast was close.
Russian players are tall but had serious problems defending drives. On offense they relied too much on baseline cuts as their perimeter players are quite average. Mozgov looks good though, but he was against 200cm centers.

Anyone got a link for the PR-Russia game from Day 1 though? I want to watch that. I saw some highlights and I think (I may be wrong though) that PR used man-to-man rather than zone defense and I think that was a costly mistake.

Mozgov is a quality center, he was very good during Eurobasket 2009. I didn't see the match but did Koné played for IC? Even though he's over 210cm, I doubt he would have been a match for Mozgov.
But then again, I was expecting a larger win from the Russians. China could take them down, but the'll have to care about PR first.
Kone is over 210cm? Yeah he played well on offense.
Mozgov and Kaun had their way inside. Mozgov is very skilled but I think he is just average on defense against Kone.
