Best performances: Australia blowout over Germany. Very efficient game by the Aussies, even against an under-performing opponent. Brazil made a solid game. With more options on the bench, they would get the victory. Lithuania at 4th quarter. It's not easy to comeback from a 11-point deficit (Spain was 18-point up at 3rd quarter) against one of the title contenders and european champion.
Most surprising performances: Germany scored only 43 points and did an awful game. Canada was a difficult opponent to France and they were not far from getting the win. And, of course, Lithuania.
MVP: I have to go with Durant and Ilyasova. Both were decisive. On the first USA close game, Durant showed that is one of a kind. Good performance on the boards, great at both ends of the floor. I didn't see Turkey vs Greece, but Ilyasova made 26 points and a perfect 6-6 from 3pt range.

    Day 3&4 Review:

Best Team: Lithuania, huge comeback in 4th quarter against Spain.
Most Disappointing Team: Germany, they were tired after a marathon against Serbia, but that's not an excuse for (blowout) loss against Australia.

MVP: Kevin Durant, guiding his team to 3rd win.
Most surprising performance: Thomas Abercrombie, after 19 points against Spain, he scored 23 today vs. Lebanon, just behind Penney.

    Best? Turkey! Hands-down.

Surprising? France! Undefeated? No one predicted this.

MVP? Scola! Come on, admit it, you know it is true!
