Will Puerto Rico get robbed a 3rd time against Ivory Coast?

Oh I forgot, Ivory Coast isnt european.

Should be an easy win to some extent, but the africans managed to lose a close game against Russia, so it isnt a given.

Obviously PR needs to win this. Shouldn't be too difficult.

This game is not in the bag at all.

    1. CI is a very athletic team that rested all their best players.

    2. PR is coming from a tough late game against turkey and CI played early and rested against greece. PR will have <15 hrs between games whereas CI had ~ 24.

    3. Arroyo is out and Barea is playing injured, rumors of the latter are that he is at around 60-70%. Barea will not sleep well tonight from what we heard.

I hope we can bring it.
Carlos Beltran pres of the Basketball federation of PR some key points:
    1. Miscalculation of Goal average for 2nd WC in a row.
    2. Manolo Cintron is the definition of mediocrity and is trash. He is fired often, and sometimes can't get a job in BSN.
    3. FBPR left some of the players without return tickets out of Turkey. Players found out when they got to the airport. And had to pay their own tickets.
    4. 5 yr ago we were 6th in the world, after the WC we are lucky if 16th.

I remember back in 2004 when PR beat USA and Angola lost by big margins to all teams people thought PR could just walk over Angola. Instead the game wasn't decided until the last second. It seems the way PR plays (relying on athleticism and running) they have the biggest problems with athletic African teams.

But I quite like watching these elephants.

It will take ages and ages for Puerto ricon basketball to recover if they lose today.

But sometimes losing bad is better then just losing. It will make u touch the problems in ur basketball.

1.If PR wins then they advance to quarterfinals.
2.If PR loses and China beats Turkey then China advances to quarterfinals.
3.If PR loses and China loses to Turkey then
    • If PR scores more than 70 points and loses by 1-5, PR advances to quarterfinals
    • If PR scores more than 70 points and loses by 6-12, China advances to quarterfinals
    • If PR scores more than 70 points and loses by 13 or more, CIV advances to quarterfinals
    • If PR scores less than 71 points and loses by 1-6, PR advances to quarterfinals
    • If PR scores less than 71 points and loses by 7-11, China advances to quarterfinals
    • If PR scores less than 71 points and loses by 12 or more, CIV advances to quarterfinals

    Half time: PR 33-39 CIV

Cote d'Ivoire could win, so I hope so. I hope +13 for them and Turkey win against China, then we (Lithuania) could get Cote d'Ivoire.
