so the Turkish NT is actually 11th this year right? and Finland is 10th our guys can be very proud now, they managed to out-class power houses like Belgium and Portugal, but let's be honest, Finland is a team of superior talent and I am happy that we are this close to them...

Default Bad news for turkish fans.

Hidajet Ramicevic from Ribarice (Serbia), mainly known as Turkoglu, won't retire from Turkish NT.

Hopefully Coach Ene knows that we don't need such a sucker who can't even run the floor anymore. Give Emir 30 Minutes, and 10 Minutes for Ersan on SF. Our PF rotation should be Enes/Furkan from now on.

Turkey has to be the most underperforming team at this championships.

1999: Haluk Yildirim misses last second three pointer to throw hosts France out of the tournament and make the semi finals

2003: we loose to Serbia with 4 points to miss QF

2005: disaster(Players fight in locker room)

2007: disaster (Tanjevic plays with Demirel as main PG and Ilyasova as SG)

2009: Arslan misses last second three pointer to make semi finals

2011: Ilyasova misses last second shot to make QF

My friend why wait for the last attempt?
I haven`t seen anyone talking about the physical condition of the team.
Last year in WC10 the running of the players in both offence and defence is something that i have never seen in any team except USA team.
This year it was totally different i haven`t seen anyone running like crazy except the game vs Spain when the moral of the team was high after poland was sent home.
The psycological factor of this team is huge...
A lot of things when wrong this year.
The saddest thing though is that next in the olympics we are going to enjoy the amazing teams of Australia , Angola and North Korea perhaps....

Turkey has great frontline for years to come, but are there any players on PG/SG position who may be able to succeed Tuneri, Arslan, Akyol etc.?

Why Guler was not used more in Eurobasket?

Güler had an appendectomy and missed all physical trainings sessions. So he couldn't performd with the energy he had last year.

Tunceri is 32. I guess he won't play any role in future. For PG position we have Engin Atsür (struggles with injuries), Dogus Balbay (will play his first professional season with Efes), Kenan Sipahi (only 16 years old) and Safak Edge (has to make a step forward).

As for SG's I can see only Akyol and Mutaf. Both couldn't develope as we hoped they could. So we will have problems on this position in next years.

i dont expect anything from Edge. he has been sucking for three years. i hope we will never see Akyol in the team. shouldnt expect something from Mutaf with his poor phisycal body. and also low bball İQ.
    for SG position i hope
Ahmet Bugrahan Tuncer... watch this kid 18 years old nothing special yet. but improving with high speed amaze me. not going to be a like Onan ofcourse but can be a guy we can trust.
Tayfun Erulku: has all the tools but doesnt know how to use it. in future he has to escape from Efes where he never improve but decrease his level at senior.
Birkan Batuk maybe a SF but i think can be used a SG. he has no ability except if there isnt any wide open, other side, he is trustworhty defender which suits our team.
Melih Mahmutoglu: was the point leader of all youth categories. well known as sharp shooter. in senior the late curse of Efes was all over him, never improved. but still there is hope..
