Iverson 2nd best to ever play in Europe - no way on earth... Byron Scott or George Mervin are profesors for him (unless anyone considers PPG as the only reasonable criteria), not to mention quite som european players that surpass him by far.

Iverson got speed, mostlikely big "first step issue", isn't in particular a great shooter, nevermind the new rules, european basketball is still quite different than NBA.
Iverson should achieve some nice statistics, hopefully Besiktas will know how to use him from marketing stand point, but if they wanted to win games, they'd go for mostlikely cheaper likes of Romain Sato or Bootsy Thornton instead.
Anyone with objections regarding the upper, read all these Brandon Jennings threads over here, re-think about several predictions in there that prooved out correct and re-think about certain simmilarities, think it all over and only than post a reply.

    get real...
he is who he is, and it's not like Bešiktaš is above average turkish team so he would have to change his game plan..
Iverson will get free hands to do what he wants and while his quickness is not good enough for NBA he will still be a step or two infront of most of his guards while playing in Europe..
I know Iverson won't just change all of a sudden but it's just my wishful thinking
Even though I never liked him as a player I do want to see him give a positive overall impact for Besiktas and hope he retires on a good note.

"Walla" also mentioned Alexander Johanson as a candidate. Personally, I hope Earl Barron will sign in Maccabi.

Also.. sport24 says that Drucker turned down DJ Strawberry cuz he cant shoot very well..

    Is this true?

Alexander Johnson and Earl Barron are also pursued by Chinese clubs. In fact based on what I know I think both will sign in China.
