    Default New Basketball ball

    Hello,
I want to buy a basketball ball for outdoors-asphalt/concrete.
    Size of the ball 7.
    1) What ball do you recommend for me?
    2) Except for your recommendation, which of the next ball is the best?
    LeBron 7 all courts
    Nike LeBron 6
    Nike 1500
    Nike Team Elite
    Nike pure grip
    NBA Spalding
    Nike Baller
    3) What ball is better, the one you recommended or the one from the list above?

    Thanking you in advance
    Ron

    Ron,

I have heard of a lot of people buying one cheap ball for using outside and then another more expensive ball for using indoors. I think that's a good idea.

I don't know much about the balls you mentioned. My friends and I usually use a Spalding TF1000 indoors, so I suppose I'm partial to the Spalding brand.

^yeah Use Cheap rubber balls for outdoors and the more expensive leather on hardwood.

I use Molten (the one they use in FIBA and the Philippine league) Those Extra lines are helpful in grip and shooting.

    1. For outdoors, I personally recommend the SPALDING ones.

    2. Nike pure grip

    3. SPALDING still my recommendation.

    I hope that helps somewhat.

I'm using both Spalding and Molten Basketballs.

I don't want a ball for indoors, I want only for outdoors.
What material do you recommend for outdoors play?

What material do you recommend for outdoors play?
Nike Street-Ball Series like the Hyper-Flate which was designed for asphalt balling.

For outdoor balls, I would probably just find the a cheap, rubber ball. If you play outside a lot on different surfaces like concrete or black top, your every ball will get "messed up" very quickly, so I would just by the cheapest one. (Although, if you're playing on a really nice outdoor court made from that tennis court material and there are never little stones on the court, you might want a ball that is a little nicer).

I suggest buying a nice ball if your using it on a nice court.

Please do not kick the ball, throw against the wall, and basically do things that basketballs are not meant to do. In other words do not warp the ball.

Most new balls come with oil on them that will come off slowly. I suggest you feel the ball and run it against your hand. I like my basketball to be full of grip, but I've had people complain to me that having a ball like that hurts their hand. Decide the kind of grip you would like to have.

Go for what is the most practical option in terms of cost and usability.

Those are my 3 points of advice.
