i think there would be joint ROY this year just like co-winners in 1995 (Hill-Kidd) and in 2000 (Brand-Francis). This year it would be Griffin and Wall. . .

Griffin is definitely the attraction of the season so far, a wonderful combination of essence for his team and spectacle for the fans.

He's really amazing. He doesn't just jump high, he gets off the ground so quickly, its really fun to watch. He's already an elite rebounder and scorer. Him and Kevin Love and Dwight Howard should be fighting it out for rebounding titles in years to come.

Not to nitpick but he has work to do on the defensive end, challenging shots regularly and rotating more quickly when off the ball.

One last note on Griffin- hopefully he keeps progressing in the next 1 and a half years, I would love to see him on our '12 Olympic team

I've believed for the last couple of years that Baron Davis is the worst bargain player in the NBA, meaning he gives you the least for what he is being paid. He has never had a good work ethic, and he is incredibly undisciplined on the court, especially for a point guard.

Its really sad to see because he is also one of the most talented players in the league as well.

I used to be a fan of Davis back when he was still playing for the Charlotte Hornets and the Golden State Warriors. Since signing with the Clippers, Davis has had ups and downs; (mostly downs) even to the point that even Clippers owner Donald Sterling has been heckling him and I could not see why not, as one time Davis reported to training camp severely overweight and that extra load has had a bearing on his ailing knees.

Back when Davis was younger, he was explosive and perhaps the strongest physique among point guards. I remember his high flying days as a Hornet and watched on TV when Davis was a part of the Slam Dunk contest in 2001.

    And this dunk over Kirilenko.

    Davis' High-Flying Hornet Days

But still, I enjoy his novelties like B-Diddy and Fear the Beard.
