The ticket selling site is experiencing problems and if you manage to get a ticket right now, you're really lucky. I managed to get Greece-Croatia when the site started working for 5 minutes, but then it went back to "normal" again. The prices are not the real issue here

Yeah, it worked some minutes but then there were errors also on trying to move in the stages there.
But the prices are too high for attending the whole tournament from the beginning to the end and when you order ticket to one game you cannot be sure you will have tickets for the other games.... not speaking about the accommodation problems.
It's different what you are ready to pay per one game when you are nearby anyway and you can go just to few games that you choose to attend. If you fight to another country just for the tournament you won't pass games...

We decided to wait for the all-tournament option, and if it's reasonable to buy if not to pass this tournament.
I didn't see them in the options yet. If somebody see it, please explain how to get there...

But just thinking about the dynamic system and the FanClub... it's like they are trying to get financially 100% that they can get... It doesn't give you a good feeling... I don't want to give them ideas but I won't be surprised if they will try to get from us in more methods, like paying for entering with a camera, the water inside the arena, the air

It seems that all the tickets available at Tiketa to the games of Lithuanian NT and the final will be sold today.

The basketball federations of all the participating countries received some tickets for the fans, so contacting them would probably be the best bet for foreign fans.

The tickets to the group stage games on the other hand should be easier to get and still available at Tiketa.

edit: I read in a Lithuanian forum that there are no more tickets left for the final game already. I wonder, how many tickets are sold at tiketa and how many are allocated to the foreign fans and all the official people.

But tiketa is known for being a crappy ticket seller, so just because there are no tickets to the final left now, doesn't mean that there won't be later in the evening or tomorrow.

Yeah, and it's written that the prices will rise. This was also described in the ticket site... that they might change dynamically if there is high demand.

And meanwhile I didn't see them selling the all tournament tickets in the site...

Well, there should be no problem to get the tickets to group B, C and D games, and group A games without Lithuania. Tickets to a second stage games of group F (C+D) should also be not hard to get. But if you want to see group E games and the final stage, your best bet is contacting your bb federation... Tiketa and the organizers screwed even us, Lithuanians. Many fans didn't get the tickets, although they were waiting in lines from the early morning.

I wanted to buy all-tournament ticket or nothing but I didn't see it on sale at all.
The more I mess with the ticket and the accommodation the less I want to go :/

    Fiba Europe Newseletter

Tickets were made available on Monday morning to the EuroBasket Fan Club members and the enthusiastic response of local members meant that tickets for the Lithuania games in Group A in Panevezys are already sold out, while the organisers expect to sell the last Lithuanian Tournament Passes within the next hours.
It is important to note that due to dynamic pricing, single ticket, Tournament Pass and Mini Tournament Pass prices can rise as demand increases.

    Haha.
I think we have about 20000 lithuanians ready to become ticket touts.
I think there on this website will be lots of ads offering bbt (bed /breakfast and a ticket for about 200 euros per game).
I suggest people start playing waiting game - no way prices are going to stay that high(accommodation wise)

You are right about the ticket touts. There are many advertisement ir various sites in Lithuania of selling tickets to the semifinals, finals and bronze medal games. Prices are tripled, but that's normal and I can say - they are even small. To the final game in Eurobasket 2007 the single ticket cost 400-600 EUR and last year in Turkey the final game ticket price went to incredible highs - almost 1000 EUR/per ticket. Comparing these prices Lithuanian prices seems funny By the way, I have some free tickets to the semifinals and finals too. If anyone is interested - don't hesitate to contact me

Scalping of tickets is illegal in many countries but not Lithuania it seems, this ticket sale has become a farce and has made this tournament ugly already.
