If the schedule posted on the FIBA-Americas site is correct, thes are the most unbalanced groups of all time.

Did you not Watch the last Centrobasket? Belize, Jamaica, British virgin Island just to mention a few of the teams that performed better than Cuba and still didn't qualified for the second Round. Centrobasket Officials wanted Cuba in the second round for economical and political reasons. Cuba has major influence on the Caribbean

Guyana 15-man squad, with three US-based players:

Unlike previous years, only three overseas-based players have been included in the Guyana 15-member squad for the 21st Caribbean Basketball Confederation (CBC) Championships in the Bahamas.

Centre Kurt `Gypsy’ Elias, power forward Andrew `Mr. Dunk’ Ifill and Armstrong Atlantic State University (AASU) shooting guard Keron McKenzie are the overseas-based players selected.

The locals players selected are Steve Neils Jr, youth player Akeem ‘The Dream’ Kanhai, Dwayne ‘Brown Sugar’ Roberts, Stephon Gillis, Royston Siland, Shelroy Thomas, Ryan Guillen, Neil Marks, Rodwell Fortune, Ryan Stephaney, Randy Richards and Shane Webster.

I would be happy if the FIBA Americas website would be working properly. They always had problems in the past and I told them even about it...but Puerto Ricans are stubborn people. They dont give a f.... if the website runs at night and out of their time zone.

Bahamas and USVI play for the championship while Jamaica and BVI are battling out the last open spot for the Centrobasket.
How many teams will be in the Centrobasket? Eight or ten?

I'm missing DR, PR, Cuba and Panama as well as Mexico...how do they qualify? Costa Rica and Nicaragua qualified for phase 2 of the COCABA Champs...but when did they play phase 2? Questions...

Jamaica won 55-54. Neither team scored for the last 3:22!

Costa Rica and Nicaragua qualified for phase 2 of the COCABA Champs...but when did they play phase 2?
This says the final round of COCABA was postponed until August 11-14.
