    1.petron = fajardo – no comment
2.alaska = hodge – i still think alaska would go for the more polished and pro-ready player...abueva despite his brilliance will need to transition while hodge won’t skip a beat.
3.petron = tiu – more likely now that olsen is their rumored coach with fudge boy as consultant.
4.meralco = mallari – a better fit to their team than any of the top picks available.
5.barako = abueva – he will immidiately be the main man.
6.bgk = ramos – teams have been concerned about his apparent lack of strength but more hours in the weight room can fix that.
7.ros = nabong – a legit 6’6 center, a bit of a project but could be more pro-ready than teams think. Kalbo too..hehe
8.bgk = ellis – draft stock falling but still a great talent...another softie which should spend more hours pumping iron.
9.bmeg = jensen – under the radar player who finished in the top 5 in the dleague mvp race.
10.global port = manuel – could help gary d in the scoring department.

    round2
11.air 21 = atkins – familiarity, size for position could be a plus...franz also apparently looking for a point.
12.bmeg = taha – tim cone can develop him ala thoss or can be a bust like burtscher.
13.bmeg = jeffries – they add another verstile winger with size.
14.global port = co – hybrid 3 or 4 will spell anthony nicely.
15.barako = ponferrada – played well in the dleague but will have to earn his minutes.
16.barako = marcelo – doesn’t have a high ceiling but could be servicable.
17.ros = monfort – guiao type of player.
18.barako = alvarez – sneaky good pick but needs to play better defense in the pros.
19.alaska = celada – with cawaling and pascual pulling out, he is the best available wing guy...lit up the scoreboard for arellano and was trillo’s player in the dleague.
20.tnt = escueta – reunion with norman black, could learn from ali peek.
If I'm global port i'll pick gian chiu in the 2nd round they badly need a back up center for rabeh ,adducul is already fading and salvador
is better at 4. I believe gian still have what it takes to be a dominant center.

I'd rather have them sign ervin sotto or mark andaya instead...did you see how badly he"played" (meaning stood around looking lost) in the dleague against guys at least 5 inches shorter?

really ? well I based by assessment on him during his stint with oberlin and actually I didn't even know that he is playing in dleague coz I hardly did not heard a news about him since his "doctor" and "injury" thingy issue.
    ..
well if thats true trading for gilbert lao will
    be an option.

I want to see Gian Chiu vs Gilbert Lao 1 on 1.

Or he can take on EJ Fiehl first.

i just cant see picking hodge over abueva...hodge has no offensive arsenal at all...the guy cant shoot, dribble, pass and facilitate ..his only ticket is his energy and rebounding. Abueva on the other hand is a guy who has lots of potential....he is the ultimate all around player whether in offense or defense...what he needs to improve is his perimeter game....his 3 point shot is more of a set shot. Playing in the ncaa finals with all the pressure and physicality has prepared him for the pros. Fact is the ncaa and the dleague is more physical than the pros because thyre more lenient with cheap shots, flagrant fouls etc. What he has to adjust is the structured game of the Aces.Hodge is extremely active but he is more of a role player while abueva has all the potentials to be the main man in the future. In other words, ill take talent over need anytime.

His play should not be measured by the way he performed in the ABL as he was used sparingly in those games due to the presence of big imports. Junmar is young and can definitely hang with PBA centers, I believe that he would be a sure fire hit in the PBA and will surprise everyone with his ability to score and defend inside the paint.
So Fajardo is an inch taller than Eman. Impressive. Eman was listed at 6'10 but was measured at 6'9 when he entered the PBA

New players coming in the PBA. A new team is incepted. Trades in the offing.

That marks the start of the 2012-2013 season of the PBA.

You did watch the dleague right? Especially the finals? You do know hodge won the mvp over manuel, mallari, jensen and ellis? Abueva does have more potential but the better player right now is hodge...but we do know potential isnt always a sure thing to untap. Plus he is 3 inches taller and fits the alaska mold more than the beast does.
