The biggest problem with nude basketball is, if everyone is nude it's hard to tell the teams apart. But I understand winning is not the goal here.
The second biggest problem is, too many balls are bouncing

Interbasket has so many basketball threads and this is a thread about nude basketball (naked basketball) and is meant as part of basketball history and practices, even if it might be a small aspect of the game, but it sure exists in many places. In many exclusive nude beaches, they do play naked basketball as well without any reservations.
So this thread is not just an exercise to show gratuitous nudity... and not that I am greatly interested personally. And it certainly isn't an invitation for basketball porn fetish, although that's an aspect of porn I guess... and there are porn movies using basketball themes.
But still it is a great documentation that we need to reflect. That's what I think. So thanks for sinobball for introducing this.
And if this thread can attract more people to see our pages, welcome. If this is what you take interest, we have this too, just like we have gay basketball, water basketball, prison basketball, wheelchair basketball, we also have nude basketball

About sex and basketball, its obvious there are similarities. "Putting the ball in the net" is just like saying having sex. It is very similar exercise and practice.
Free throws are also often closely related to masturbation, as its a sole activity. That's why you see all these non-voluntary moves and gestures that basketball players make while shooting the ball in a free throw. They also often touch their own genitals as part of their voluntary / involuntary gestures.
It is not strange when you say "shooting" or handling the ball, or touch the ball or the back court LOL
Dunks are also often allegories for huge sexual climaxes. Some players admit to having very similar feeling of climax and orgasm when they are dunking
These are some sexual aspects of basketball and there are many more.. But I thought appropriate to mention as some may say this is a sexual thread as well...
Many basketball terminology used is very sexual. We have basketball rims and it can be meaning sexual activity (rimming - a word for practice of anilingus). Another challenge is when basketball players challenge who can shoot farthest LOL Of course what they really mean is...

(Incidentally sexual double meaning is not unique to basketball terminology. Many sports are very homo-erotic like Greco Roman sports, wrestling, boxing, diving, swimming. Many very famous buildings and structures are what are known as "phallic structures", i.e. looking like a phallus, a sign of virility and strength. In cars you have clutches, in construction you have nuts and bolts and screw drivers, poles etc... and you know in food you have buns and bread sticks and nuts, and in vegetable terminology as sexual terminology - peaches, pears, apples, figs, cherry (popping one's cherry), carrots etc)

Not really. It's not that people want to be seen nude while playing.
Very important difference may be what we call the "INDOOR NUDE BASKETBALL" and all indoor nude sports. These are people who wouldn't mind playing nude, but it is not exhibitionism for others to see.
In any case:
Here was an explanation I found about marketing and promoting Indoor Nude Basketball. It read:
"Sports are meant to be fun and it takes talent to be a basketball player but playing Basketball while NUDE makes the game a natural!
PLAY NUDE"

You are absolutely right.. Nude Basketball is not technically about players posing in nude, I understand exactly what you mean, you want it as a sporting activity.
But nude basketball in my dictionary does include nude basketballers... for one they do carry a very esthetic value that they have beautiful bodies as well LOL
I'll try to bring materials about nude basketball as a sports, but I will include also nude basketballer(s) of course keeping a good taste in photos
